CAN'T LET YOU GO

Chapter 1

As I stood looking at the large building in front of me I was bother excited and terrified at the same time, it was my first day of college, the first in my family to get a tertiary education so this was a big deal. I didn't know what would happen but I knew that I had to make my Mummy proud.
As I kissed my boyfriend goodbye I walked in. " welcome to Drama school" I heard a high pitched voice said I looked over to see a short brown girl with an hour class shape and the biggest smile I had ever seen on anyone. I later learned her name was Jamie she was the drama school representative.
As I walked into my first acting class all I could think about was what my mom had said to me before I left my home in the rural areas of Manchester " Amanda, me a send you a college do me a beg you no worry go waste me money because you know you mother no have it"
I was prepared to do my best because I knew what my mother had give up for me to be here. And being the first in my family to go to college this was a big deal .
It's been a month since I started college and believe me I am already feeling the pressure. I had classes back to back and when I finally got home I had t ton of home work to do, even my boyfriend noticed that I had little time for him. Jake and I have been together since I was in ninth grade he was three years older than me and he is the absolute love of my life. I can't imagine a world without him, he is supportive and one of the most genuine person I have ever met.
