-Paige's POV-

Two days later, my parents dropped me and Lila off at the airport.  We each had a big suitcase and were dressed comfortably for the flight.  It was pretty early in the morning, and I was definitely feeling a little groggy....I'm not a morning person in the least. I was looking forward to seeing my boyfrien, even though I knew the jetlag would be rough.

We boarded the plane and the flight went smoothly.  When we touched down, Harry was waiting for Lila, looking more than a little excited. I smiled to myself because I could tell that Harry and Lila were going through the same thing that Niall and I were.  I exchanged quick hugs and goodbyes with the two of them before boarding my second flight.

After a long day of travelling I finally touched down in Ireland, and I was starting to get a little nervous.   I hadn't seen Niall in almost three weeks, but it had felt like so much longer.

-Niall's POV-

I'd arrived at the airport early and had been waiting ages for Paige's plane to land.  I had a crazy rush of emotions flooding my brain........excitement, longing, and.....surprisingly..... nervousness.

Finally, I saw her.  She was standing about thirty yards away, wearing a grey hoodie, black beanie, black leggings and black uggs.  Even dressed casually and with almost no makeup, she was still so beautiful.  Finally, she saw me, and a big smile broke out across her face.

We both ran towards each other, closing the distance quickly and pulling each other into a massive hug.  The hug must've lasted three minutes at least, though it felt only about three seconds to me. I breathed in her familiar vanilla scent.

I could tell she was crying.  She whispered in my ear, "You have no idea how much I've missed you."

Finally I pulled away and kissed her, probably a little bit roughly.

"Actually, maybe you do have an idea..." she laughed, shakily, and I dried her tears with the sleeve of my hoodie.

I took her hand and we made our way out of the airport.  Somewhere in the back of my mind, I must've noticed the flashing cameras...but honestly I was too happy to be holding Paige's hand to even care anymore.  I didn't understand why people wanted pictures of the two of us, anyway.

When we reached the car, I loaded her stuff into the back and opened her door for her.  I drove her to my parents house.

When we pulled up out front, she looked suddenly super nervous.

"What's wrong?" I asked her.

"I'm meeting your family....but I look like crap."  She laughed, wiping away a few tears.  "I'm dressed for a long flight...and I'm crying too, I'm a total mess."

"You look absolutely beautiful, Paige." I told her, taking her hands in mine and looking at her seriously.  I was on the verge of tears as well, and was fighting to hold it together for her.  I had missed her so much that it hurt, but being with her....somehow that hurt too.  It was the best kind of pain I'd ever felt. "Seriously.  And I'm not just saying that because you're my girlfriend."

She smiled. "I like it when you call me your girlfriend." she said shyly.

I laughed.  "My family is going to love you."  I squeezed her hands reassuringly and then got out of the car and came around to open her door for her.

"My friend, Sean, is here too.  I wanted him to meet you."  I didn't tell Paige, but something that was really important to me in a girlfriend was whether or not she could get along with my mates.  It wasn't a deciding factor, obviously, but if a girl could get on well with my friends, it definitely made things easier.
