Third Person's Point of View

As Baekhyun walked away with a triuphant smirk on his lips, Jaeyoung was left there, with failure on his shoulders. Baekhyun didn't really cared alot to his grades, he never wanted to compete especially with his cousin. There was just something that pushed him to do this, there was something that made him do it. Of course, that something is related to Mieun.

Baekhyun walked the direction to his room, his hands on his pockets. He couldn't help on not thinking about the thing that made him and his cousin, Jaeyoung very distant to each other. They we're very close to each other in middle school but what happened now? Then a certain name of a girl popped in his head.

'Bae Suzy.' He thought, with a scowl.

Just because of a girl their bond was ruined, ended. Baekhyun rolled his eyes, when he remembered that his cousin started hating him because of Suzy. Because, Suzy liked him and Jaeyoung liked Suzy and he liked none. Baekhyun is an aloof guy, he never truly showed interest or concern on things, no emotion graced on his beautiful face.

Baekhyun couldn't help but sigh, he doesn't understand people inlove. He never felt it, no. Love wasn't in his vocabulary, he never knew the signs to know if your inlove. But he called his cousin,

'Stupid in love.' Baekhyun thought.

He kept asking himself, why does his cousin always liked the person who likes someone else? Baekhyun just shooked his head from the thoughts and entered his room, then suddenly everyone in the room clapped and cheered.

"It's hyung who broke the curse!" Sehun yelled which made him got whacked on the back of his head.

"Ow hyung!" He complained rubbing at the part where he got hit.

"It's not a curse! Baekhyun who made history!" Chanyeol yelled and everyone joined him cheering.

Baekhyun covered his ears and went straight to his seat. Why did he even ended up in this room? He sat down while everyone was cheering for him, and asking how did he get to the second place when he's from Class-F. Then Sehun yelled, and Baekhyun noted to have high grades starting from now on.

"IT'S A MIRACLE!"

Mieun looked at Jaeyoung with worry writing all-over her features. There's a part of her that was very glad that Baekhyun got to the second place and there was a part of her that felt sorry for Jaeyoung. He was a very dear and close friend to Mieun, she liked him as a friend. Even with his feelings they still became friends, because he wasn't those arrogant and cocky boys, no.

He was the perfect boyfriend material, yes he had look, the brains, he's nice, rich and all. Yet, Mieun still liked him as a friend. She stood up from her seat and walked to Jaeyoung's, she bit her lip and took the seat beside him. Jaeyoung who in a daze didn't noticed Mieun's prescence, she tapped his shoulder and Jaeyoung looked at her.

"What?" He flatly asked, looking at her with boring eyes.

"You alright?" Mieun asked instead, she isn't used on seeing him like this.

"Do I look like? I just got humiliated infront of everyone! Aish!" He said and messed his hair.

"Tell me," Jaeyoung looked at Mieun with seriousness.

"What does he have that I don't, what does he have that you liked him?" He asked holding Mieun's shoulders.

Mieun gulped, she could feel the seriousness of the athmosphere and she knows Jaeyoung was very serious. She thought of everything that could possibly what Baekhyun got that Jaeyoung didn't. From their personalities to their skills until she stopped at one thing. She loves Baekhyun and not Jaeyoung. The only thing that Jaeyoung didn't got was the returned feelings.
