The search for the Queen

It's been two days since the party, and Anna was getting more worried by the day as she heard no signs of her sister

" this is really bad.. i don't know where she could of went"  Anna thought, pacing back and forth in the halls. it's been some months since they had spoken to each other, but the night at the party felt as if they spoken their first words as babies. Anna had to go look for her but she couldn't leave the castle unattended. Just then, Prince Hans was walking up to Anna. 

" my dear princess, please don't be stressed. i can send some troops to come and help look for the queen"

" you would? oh thank you! i would go but i have to stay and take care of the castle. if you get any reports or hear from her, bring them to me. and if you find her, please get her home safely"

" i will do my very best, my princess" said Hans. He kissed her hand and took off down the hallway.

" don't worry Elsa.. we will find you" Anna thought. 

Meanwhile, Jack was coming up with a plan to help the queen with her gifts. it seemed difficult considering he barely has his own gifts under control. 

" she has a lot of things clouding her mind and maybe that's whats triggering her to react the way she does" jack thought. he ran back to his cottage. 

Elsa was sitting in a chair by the fire reading when jack came busting through the door. Elsa screamed and dropped the book. " have you lost your damn mind! i could of killed you!" Elsa shouted.

" i think i know how to keep control of your powers. See, whenever you think of something from your past, your emotions start to run all over the place, triggering you to react with your powers without thinking.  Maybe if we try to get you to focus on a certain object, then you may be able to control them" Jack explained.

Elsa looked at him as if he lost his mind, but she also thought he had a point. 

" Alright, ill give it a try. but am i supposed to be focusing on, exactly?"

Jack looked around the room and found a cup.  " This. Focus on freezing the cup in my hand"

Elsa looked horrified. " what if i end up hurting you? no way.. i don't want to risk it"

" look, do you or do you not want to see your family again? if not for yourself, do it for your kingdom" Jack said, smiling

Elsa looked at jack and then at the cup. she lifted her hand and put all her thoughts into freezing the cup. she closed her eyes and a frozen beam shot from her hand and hit the cup, knocking it from Jacks hand. 

" Awesome! you did it!" Jack cheered. Elsa opened her eyes and saw that Jack wasn't hurt and in fact that the cup was frozen. Her eyes went wide with excitement as she saw that maybe if she did let go of her past, she can control her powers. 

" i-i can't believe i actually did it! oh thank you jack" Elsa hugged jack. jack hesitated but hugged back. " its all in how you control your emotions. the more you practice, the better you become at it. in no time, you will be able to use your gifts without hurting anyone"

Elsa looked at jack and jack looked at Elsa. She felt safe around him, even though they met just two days ago, but she felt like she knew him all her life. Jack felt the same as her. they continued to look at each other until a knock was heard at the door.

" who could that be?" Jack thought. He went to answer the door and a man with a flyer was there. 

" something terrible has happened!" 

" what happened?" Jack took the flyer and instantly froze. 

Elsa looked worried as jack slowly closed the door and turned to look at Elsa. 

" Jack, what's wrong?" Elsa walked over and looked at the flyer in utter shock

" Elsa.. they think your missing and are looking for you"
