Dear Journal,
I made a mistake today. I confided in my father about how I don't understand why we keep invading, killing, and destroying other planets. I told him how I had been learning about life on planet Earth and how they treat others who are different them. What happened to our home planet? Shouldn't we be figuring out a way that we can stay in one place and not completely destroy our environment? He labeled me an interspecies sympathizer. Tomorrow he is going to our higher-ups to report me and tonight I'm locked in my room. I don't know what's going to happen, but it can't be good. I think I remember a few years ago someone killed for letting some prisoners escape.
