Author's Note.

Alrighty for those of you who are as in love with Danny Phantom as I am, you'll love this. if you have no idea what I'm talking about, go watch the whole series on Netflix  then  you can talk to me. I've loved this show for years, and Ember McLain was and still is my FAVOURITE character. I had heard numerous rumours about her background story (how she died, where her song came from, ect.) SOOOO I decided to write my own version. If you know the show as well as I do, you will reconize other characters I have added :3 I hope you enjoy. I wrote this listening to Remember by Ember McLean on repeat, and tried to put in lyrics to the song where I felt they fit :3

I squeezed Johnny’s hand as he walked me up the stairs to my house after work.

“You were great tonight princess. My little rock star rocking the stage,”

“Johnny,” I giggled “I’m only a singing waitress.”

“And a beautiful one,” he said pulling me closer and kissing me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. “Well, looks like this is your stop.”

I nodded sadly and kissed him again.

“You could come in.” I told him between kisses. He grinned in a slightly sexy way and I pulled him into my house. “My parents are gone for the night. We’re all alone,” I whispered to him.

“Where’s your bedroom?” He whispered.

“Downstairs. The basement,” I told him kissing him again. I was ready to surrender to him. I loved him. And he loved me.

I woke up the next morning in my bed completely naked. But I wasn’t alone. I looked over and saw through the strings of messy brown hair that he was sound asleep. I snuggled closer to him and felt him wrap his arm around me. I watched the smile spread across his face as his eyes opened.

“Morning, princess. So, how was last night?” He said smiling as he kissed me lovingly.

“Wonderful,” I told him. “But, you should go soon. My parents will be home and if they see you here, wearing,” I giggled. “your birthday suit, they might freak.”

“You’re right, I have to be somewhere anyway.” He kissed me again and rolled out of the bed then pulled his clothes on. “I’ll call you tomorrow okay? Later princess.” He said before walking upstairs.

“I love you!” I called after him. No response. He must’ve not heard me. I lay in bed smiling up at my ceiling and pulled the covers over my naked chest. What a wonderful night, I thought to myself. I sat up and looked out the little window of my room and watched the wind blow dead leaves along the walkway. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

A few days past, and he still hadn’t called. I lay in bed with the phone in my hands, praying it would ring. I missed him so much. Had something happened? He was so unlucky, hence his nickname, Johnny 13. I’m sure he was just really busy and couldn’t call me. I hesitated before putting the phone on the charger and pulled out my poetry notebook and a pen. There was no denying my feelings for Johnny, I loved him. I knew that. And he loved me, he didn’t say it, but his actions showed it. I smiled down at my new little poem and tore it off the pad, pinning it on the bulletin board of pictures of us together. Six months we had been together. Six months of wonderful memories. I smiled up at the photos before looking at my clock. Holy crap, 12:29! I had been up for hours waiting for him to call. I curled up in my pjs on my bed and blew the candle on my bed stand out. There only little light in the basement no longer worked, and I liked the smell of candles, so I’d light them a lot. Gazing into the darkness I felt my eyes get heavier before I fell asleep.
