Forbidden Love (SHORT STORY)

The soft petals that belong to the Roses and Lilies brushes along my long tanned legs as I quietly walk through my father's Royal flower garden to get to the back exit of the Royal Castle to meet my true love although the reason behind me sneaking out is because my father forbid me from seeing him with reasoning's that he is a bad influence on me he told me and I quote "Tiera once I pass away the Kingdom and town belong to you and we cannot have boys like Kaylin making you do bad things which can affect you becoming Queen of Florieance I forbid you from having any contact with that boy what so ever" and from that day on it has been hell. So now I'm going to meet Kaylin at Pop's, Pop's is a small restaurant hidden far east from Town.

The sound of the bell dings as I walk into the small moulded and scratched up Door. Our eyes met as I rushed over to him "Kaylin my love its wonderful to see you It has been bad since father forbid me from contacting you" I say now waiting for a response back. There is a slight pause he goes to open his mouth to let the words come out but before he could sirens started blaring in the distance the red and blue lights shining into the store Kaylin looks at me before he says "Tiera darling we must hurry" "Where" I replied my heart racing so fast it could run a 16k Marathon in 2.5 minutes he doesn't say anything and yanks my wrist forward and runs out the back I hear my fathers voice boom through the shop as the door closes. How does he know I am here? I never told anyone Besides Brenda of course Brenda why did I tell her anything she does not know how to keep her mouth shut remind me later to fire her.

We ran for about 5 minutes whilst being chased by my father and his men the sound of large feet slamming against the ground catching up before we halted to a stop before a loud bang erupted through the forest "Kaylin why did we stop" I say. "Kaylin why did we stop" I repeat as he didn't say anything I then glance over my shoulder and screamed I watch the love of my life drop to the ground possibly dead. Blood pouring out of his chest the bullet went all the way through my vision went blurry as the tears were streaming out as fast as the water is at Niagara Falls and that is a lot.

My Father came rushing over by my side "sweetie it was for the best" he says but the way he said it was full of pure hatred. Which is what I have for him right now Pure Hatred "NO" I screamed "This is all your fault you didn't have to do this. Why? What did I do to deserve this? What did he do?" I scream out again at him trying to control the tears streaming down my face. "in out in out" I say to myself whilst trying to control my breathing a few silent moments pass and I finally come out of my hysteric state. I slowly gather enough courage to stand up and face my father "lets go home" I say which was followed with a nod "it was for the best" I hear him whisper as I walk past him.
