Another day another day to live in sorrow. i wake up the same way i have for two weeks , sitting on a couch with (friend) comforting me. IF ANYTHING I WOULD OF THOUGHT SHE WAS MY GIRLFRIEND..... NAH THAT WOULD BE WEIRD i thought. I shook her awake and we got up to make breakfast.

i looked down at my plate playing with my food. I looked up to see her giving me a concerned look
you- i'm ok..... really.
friend- i know your not, thats why i'm here.
you- you don't have to worry it's been two weeks.
friend- and you haven't been out of the house in that long
you- fine ms. worriesalot what should i do
friend-well i haven't seen you shoot a basketball in while
you- ok fine we'll go later, i'm gonna run you up and down that court till you can't walk
friend- that's the y/n i know. but take a shower first

I walked into (local gym) and checked in at the desk. a cute girl was a the desk and checked me in. i walked away and looked back to see her smiling at me. (friend) wrapped around my arm and stared down the girl, she immediately looked away
you- why?!
friend- aren't you supposed to be depressed or something
you- oh haha
we walked in to see a completely open court. i dropped my bag and walked on.
you- lets see if i can still do this
you started running towards the hoop. when i got close i leaped into the are and cocked back my arm with the ball and threw it down the other direction dunking on the rim. i landed and looked at (friend) whose jaw was dropped.
you- HELL YEAH!! LETS GOOOOOOOO
just then a couple of kids from my team walked in.
Teammate #1- hey y/n long time no see, where y-
tm#2- DUDE shut-up i already told you bout it
tm#1- oh my bad
tm#3-dumbass
you- its fine guys i'm alright, i'm still the best player in the country
tm#2- that's right you are, yo lets get a game started
