Bubbles

This bubble is a bubble,

As you may think

But this is no ordinary bubble,

Not the one that flows down the sink.

This bubble contains laughter,

As sweet as honey can be

But sometimes it has its down days,

Anyone, you or me.

This bubble can be hurt,

Through words and actions alike

But everyone can make amends,

And learn to love not fight.

This bubble has friends,

Other bubbles like me and you

But the time will come one day,

For some of these bubbles to go too.

This bubble contains love,

Fiery like hate

But differences set us apart,

The paths that we may take.

This bubble keeps memories,

The good and the bad

But keeping those alive,

Even if those ones are sad.

This bubble hides truth and lies,

Ones you may not want to hear

But all may be passed down,

From ear to ear.

This bubble contains death,

It happens to everyone one day

But only time will tell,

When you will fade away.

This bubble is like life,

There are the good times and the bad

But no - one knows when life ends,

And for this I am glad.
