Wowza it's been a while, sorry loves. A lot has happened since my last update, including my sister having her baby (actually the day I posted the second chapter before I edited it) and my sister-in-law telling us she is pregnant. So yeah, my uncle's girlfriend is having a baby soon and that should be fun! Lots of babies on the wayyyyy which is totally inspiring me to make Kyle have an older brother who has a family because I love babies and yeah! So without further ado, I present to you chapter three.
LOL so I wrote that more than a year ago and so far we have had four new babies born and yeah I graduated! So that's fun. Anyway, without further ado, I bring you the long-awaited third chapter

My whole body felt as though it was on fire, my veins boiling and my muscles aching. I'd never felt pain like this before. It was like liquid fire was coursing through my blood and attacking everything within me.
It took me several moments to realize I was crying in agony- and even longer to realize I was no longer laying in a snowbank in the middle of the woods. I was on a white cot with thin, itchy blankets, no doubt drenched in my own pain-induced sweat.
I couldn't remember much other than the attack and seeing Kyle carrying me into a - my thoughts we cut off by a horrible howl of pain that erupted from my chest as every muscle in my body spasmed and contorted. A monitor next to me starting blaring and suddenly the room turned a bright red, almost like sirens lit up the white walls.
Except that's exactly what happened. The screeching monitor had a light siren ontop that now rotated red and flashed lights at me.
And for some reason, I was angry. I was angry at Dad for forgetting to pick me up. I was angry at Tommy for having sports tryouts. I was angry at whatever wolf attacked me. But I was more angry at myself than anything. I should've just asked for a ride from someone, anyone, to have avoided this pain.
Tears dropped from my cheeks as my muscles contracted more and my bones crunched into inhuman shapes and positions. I was dying. This was it. No more teasing Tommy about his sports games or making dinner for Dad. This was it for me.
The thought of dying in a strange room with a blaring monitor was enough to make me laugh, howl even. Then I stopped as another wave of pain washed over me, this time it was different and I rolled off of the cot or bed or whatever it was. I landed on my hands and feet, or what I thought were my hands and feet.
When I opened my eyes and looked down at my hands, I was met with large furry paws instead. Bright orange-reddish fur speckled with black and grey covered the big things. I was sure I was hallucinating, whoever took me must've pumped me full of drugs before I woke up.
But there was something so surreal about the howling that echoed through the room and reverberated off the walls. I realized it was definitely coming from me. I was howling. I had paws.
I tried to walk around but everything felt so strange, I was lower to the ground and everything around me seemed so much more vibrant like a filter had been placed over my vision to enhance everything I saw.
Now I noticed the tiny dust specs on the floor and the sunflowers that had been painted with oil on the walls. The bright yellow beamed against the white, and I loved it.
