ALEX's POV
WOW how can she do that to me? When I saw her and that guy kissing I felt like a sword stab my heart I can't breathe even a single air. She didn't push him to stop him and she just stand still there like enjoying that fucking kiss! My tears are now racing down my cheeks but I can't wipe it because every time I touch my cheeks it hurts. I let my tears to fall and dry on my cheeks.
I don't feel like going to school so maybe it's best for me to stay at home. I'm gonna text my Aunt Melissa to tell her that I'm not going besides she's the school principal.
I noticed I still wear my clothes that I wear yesterday. I grabbed some clothes and went to shower. The water is not helping, yeah its cold but still my cheeks still hurting. Maybe I shouldn't wipe it forcefully. I sigh, turn off the shower and rapped my towel on my body.
I slipped on a pair of jogger pants and a jersey. I went straight to the kitchen. I saw Jessica my cousin cooking. I just sat on the couch and stare at the blank white wall in the living room.
"You okay?" She asked interrupting my thoughts.
"Yeah just thinking" I lied. "So what's for breakfast?" I asked to change the topic.
"I'm cooking for lunch, actually." She looked at me with those worried eyes. Oh shit it's already noon and I didn't notice it. Because you're crying all night stupid! Okay now I'm crazy, I'm arguing with myself.
"Mom called me earlier and said you're not going to school, so I decided to go here and check on you if you're sick." She looked at me while arranging the dining table. "And as I can see someone here is heartbroken." She really knows me too well. "Let's eat." She simply says.
After I finish my food I put it in the sink. "Just put it in the sink Jess I'm gonna wash it later." I said and sat on the couch and turned on the TV. But then again my thoughts invade me. The scene yesterday in the gym keeps on playing in my mind like it's on a repeat. Did she do it on purpose to hurt me back? Because seriously it really hurts me a lot!
"You're watching comedy but you're crying, seriously Marie are you really okay, because you're not?" She said, and I quickly put my hand on my eyes and viola I'm really crying and guess what I didn't noticed it. Stupid tears!
"I know there is something going on with you and you have a problem, I can see that. So tell me." She sat beside me stroking my back.
She knows me very well because she's the only one whom I can talk to everything especially when my parents died on an accident. She and Aunt Melissa took care of me since I was 13 years old. In fact she's my first best friend even she's 3 years older than me. She's like my sister and my mother if it's possible. So I told her everything even a little details.
"So she came back huh." She said referring to Jaimee. Yeah she knows about Jaimee and I relationship before and she's the one who comfort me when Jaimee left me without any simple good bye.
"Did you already talk to Rachelle?" she asked.
"No, I just can't talk to her right now." Tears are now stinging in my eyes again. Ughh when these tears will stop.
"You have to hear her out and explain to her that you and Jaimee are nothing but some past that has to leave behind." She said gently. "Avoiding her will do no good for you and your relationship. It just makes everything difficult for the both of you and if you didn't take an action immediately maybe she'll think that you don't love her anymore and I'm sure that's the last thing you want her to think about you. So go now before it's too late." She said hugging me.
"Thanks Jess" I grabbed my phone and jacket together with my keys and storm out my house and hopped on my car. I checked my phone and there are a hundred messages and calls from Rachelle. Oh shit I'm so fuck up. I dialled Cyrus number and after some ringing she finally answered.
ALEX: Hey Cy, did you know where's Rachelle?
CYRUS: She's here with me, why?
ALEX: Where are you? (Cyrus told me where they are) Okay I'll be there just don't let Rachelle go anywhere. Bye.
I drove too fast enough to get there immediately but I wouldn't let to myself goes over speeding because I will be in so much trouble if that happened. My phone suddenly ring and Cyrus was calling me.
CYRUS: Bessy where are you? Can you make it faster? Rachelle wants to go home now.
ALEX: I'm on my way Cy don't worry I'm almost there.
I hung up and parked my car in the parking lot. I ran as fast as I could and there they are, Cyrus is trying to stop Rachelle to go somewhere.
Once I made it, "PRINCESS!" I shout in my throat. She looked at my direction and sadness filled her eyes.
I grabbed her wrists, "Princess" I started to cry and hugged her even she's not hugging back. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry if I didn't listen to you. I'm sorry" I said as my tears fell down.
She hugged me back, "Baby I'm sorry too" she said.
I pulled away and look at her intently. I hate when I see her cry and knowing it was because of me I started to hate myself.
"Ssssshhh you know that I hate to see you cry, right? So stop crying." I wiped her tears.
"I love you too baby. I thought I've lost you already because you're not answering your phone and you're avoiding me." She said between her sobs.
I smiled at her knowing how much she love me now makes my heart flinch in happiness.
"I will never leave you, okay? Sorry." She smiled back at me and kissed me. I kissed her passionately with care and love. I wanted to make her feel that she is my only one and no one could ever replace her in my life. I know that I should've trust her and never doubt her.
"I should've trust you" Rachelle said and thank God she's stop crying. I just shook mu head. "No, we should've trust each other because it'll make our relationship strong." I said looking straight in her eyes while stroking her hair gently. I leaned in closer to her but before I could kiss her Cyrus interrupted us.
"We should go home now and you two can continue that in either of each other's house." She said crossing her arms in her chest glaring playfully on us. Turning her back and leaving us alone.
"So you want a sleep over?" I said wiggling my eyebrows receiving a wide smile from her.
"Sounds like a plan." She said and offer my hand for her to take and she gladly took it and swung it while were walking towards my car.
