Arthur returns to Camelot part 1

As Merlin stood in the queen's chamber, memories of Arthur flooded his mind. He remembered the days of Camelot's glory, the battles fought side by side, and the unwavering belief in Arthur's return. But now, as he looked upon the solemn scene of the death coronation, a heavy weight settled in his heart.

The candles flickered, casting shadows across the room as if mourning alongside those gathered in the king's court. The atmosphere was thick with sorrow, yet there was also a sense of reverence for the fallen king.

Merlin's thoughts drifted back to the days when he would use every ounce of his magic in an attempt to bring Arthur back. He had clung to the hope that destiny could be altered, that somehow he could defy the fates and restore the once great king to his rightful place.

But now, as he stood in the presence of Arthur's funerary monument, surrounded by those who had once hailed him as their ruler, Merlin realized the futility of his efforts. No incantation, no spell could reverse what had been written in the annals of fate.

The queen, strong and resolute, had taken up the mantle of leadership in Arthur's absence. Her presence commanded respect, and though the people mourned their fallen king, they also rallied behind their new sovereign with cries of "Long live the queen!"

Merlin, in his guise as Emrys, moved among the gathered crowd, his expression a mask of grief and acceptance. Though his heart still ached for the loss of his dear friend and king, he knew that Arthur's legacy would live on in the hearts of those who had been touched by his reign.

And as the candles continued to burn, casting their warm glow upon the assembled mourners, Merlin whispered a silent prayer for Arthur's soul, hoping that wherever he may be, he had found the peace that had so often eluded him in life...

In Merlin S5's last episode ( diamond of the Day part 2 ) only Sir Percival and Sir Leon were alive.

As the declaration was underway in the king's court, the atmosphere heavy with sorrow and remembrance, the sudden intrusion through the doors caught everyone's attention. All eyes turned towards the figure who dared to interrupt such a solemn occasion.

Tears welled in Queen Gwen's eyes as she beheld the unexpected visitor, her heart torn between hope and disbelief. Could it be possible? Could Arthur truly be returning to them after two long years of mourning his loss?

Merlin, who had been standing in the corner, his heart racing with a mixture of anticipation and trepidation, felt a surge of emotions wash over him. Could his deepest wish, his most fervent prayer, finally be answered?

As the figure stepped forward, clad in regal attire and bearing a striking resemblance to the beloved king they had lost, a collective gasp filled the chamber. Sir Percival and Sir Leon, ever loyal to their kingdom and their fallen king, stood in awe, scarcely daring to believe what they were witnessing.

Queen Gwen's tears flowed freely now, a mixture of joy and disbelief painting her expression as she gazed upon the man who had once been her husband, her king, her love.

And as the room erupted into a whirlwind of emotions, Merlin could only watch, his heart overflowing with hope and wonder. For in that moment, as Arthur Pendragon returned to his rightful place at the head of the court, it seemed that destiny itself had been rewritten, and Camelot's greatest hero had risen once more to lead his people.
