When will this stop?
How many people have to die,
Before we open our eyes?
Why are we so numb to this?

we say something should be done
But no legislation passes the house
And nothing changes
Innocent lives are taken
For things that cannot change
49 lives were taken, 53 injured
all they wanted was to be accepted by their peers, but guns were drawn
Decisions were made
Now two years later
Nothing has changed
Nothing is new
17 dead
10 casualties
Now how many more
Till we realize
This is an epidemic
The places that seem safest, are being invaded. Schools, theaters, clubs, what's next?
Will we become so fearful
we won't be able to walk out our front door?
We live in a terrible world
I don't want my future children to grow up fearing for their lives as they learn
When will peace come?
