Chapter one: the voices

Ruby's POV
I look at my closet trying to decide what to wear, I go with a see through crop top with the number 88 on the front in gold, black bra, bright orange leather jacket black very short jean shorts and black converse. I put a black choker, and my star necklace. I leave my brown hair with red highlights alone well I put my glasses on top of my head and applied make up. I run down the stairs of our mansion, that, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, uncle Ryan, ant Denette, Neesa , Travis, Damon, Violet, Violets parents, David, David's parents, Brady, Brady's parents, Cody, Cody's parents, goust great grandma & goust great grandpa. Oh and Jake our gigantic three headed dog in our basement. We're not your normal family. "Ruby Linda Wildfong get down here now!" Mom shouted, I roll my eyes as I walk into the kitchen . "Lookin' smitten." Ant Denette grins, I smirk " why thank you. " I sit down inbetween Her and uncle Ryan, all the adults are teachers, how convenient. I poke at my eggs I then eat them, Travis was grinning stupidly "shut up or I'll feed you to the three headed dog." I threaten as I throw bacon at him Beast giggles, great grandma and grandpa's blue goust selves walked into the room and sat down, ant Denette was wearing a black mini skirt a white blouse, her dark hair up in a messy bun and thigh high brown leather boots, mom was wearing a gray dress that had a low neckline green belt six inch heels and her sandy blonde hair down, grandma was wearing a navy blue blouse with a gray blazer, gray dress pants and three inch heels, uncle Beast was wearing a flora dress and flats, Neesa was wearing a white crop top flora leggings and black flats, uncle Ryan was wearing a white dress shirt black, blazer black slacks and his black sneakers, dad was wearing a green t-shirt blue jeans and mountain boots, Travis was wearing a plade shirt blue jeans and cowboy boots, Damon was wearing a t-shirt basketball shorts and sneakers, violet was wearing a yellow thigh high dress and flip flops David wore a hoodie, jeans, and converse. God that was a lot to say. "Off to school you go!" great grandma announced, every one for up and start towards the door, the adults all drove to school, once us kids got there we walked inside after we dropped off Beast at preschool. "Look it's the freak show!" Lilly shouted every one laughed as we pressed on, " why do you call them the freak show? " an Australian accent that belonged to Belle London the new kid, "because they have magic." Lilly said, my family all went to class as I opened my locker, " well I'm gonna go talk to the one with red highlights. " Belle said, I heard footsteps behind me, "hi I'm Belle London, and you are?" I turn around to face her she has brown hair blue eyes and is wearing a blue dress and flats. " I'm Ruby Wildfong, but call me Rubes, " i say she opens the locker next to me, "so do you really have magic?" She asked, " yes, " i answer as I add my health binder into my hand, "can I see your schedule?" I ask, she nodded and smiled as she gave it to me,

"You have the same schedule as I do. Weird." I say, " oh, your my tour guide so mrs. Taylor gave us the same schedule. " Belle said, really David's mom? I mentally groan, "ya know it's not easy being a witch." I say, as we walk to health class, "I'd hate to be called a freak!" Belle said, " well you'll get used to it. " I shrug. As we walk into class, I set my stuff down pain shoots three my arm i see violet and Travis wince, I pull up my sleeve, I look at my purple witch tattoo Ş. It glowed, the others did it too and realized something was wrong, mrs. Cantrell looked at her wrist as her eyes went wide, "outside reassess!" She practically yelled, everyone cheered and ran out except for us and belle, "did you feel that?" Mrs. Cantrell asked "yeah," violet said, " i gotta go, violet show belle around. " I say, "Hello my little muddy!" Bellatrix's voice said, I put my hand to my head, " but-" Violet starts, "do it." I snap, I walk out.I practically run to the library i go to the back bookshelf, I lean against it i magically lock the door knowing that nobody is here, I slide down, pulling my knees up to my chest and wrapping my arms around them, "do you miss me?" The voice asked in amusement. " stop it, please. " I beg, "aw poor muddy you miss me." The voice says in mocking sorrow

"Wasn't that fun?" She asked, " leave me alone you annoying witch! " I yell, "Ruby are you okay?" Ant Denette asked, " ugh, I hate her, " Bella said, "shut up!" I thought, " I'm fine. " I say. She nodded thoughtfully, "she's in your head isn't she?" Ant Denette asked, "yes and she won't shut up!" I groan, we left the library. During lunch I snapped just because Bellatrix  kept talking to me, so I yelled. "Shut up!" Everyone looked at me curiously. "Take a chill pill muddy." Bella laughed i ran into the bathroom " get out of my head" i sobbed, as I slide down the wall, Ruby Wildfong did not cry. At the end of the day I walk back home, it's dinner time,  I pass the table and walk up to my room, I change into a tank top and sweat pants. I climb into the bed and as soon as I closed my eyes I fell asleep

I run down the hallway of the high school, her voice yelled, "come  back here muddy! I won't bite much!" Her blood curling laugh echoed off the walls as I heard her boots clicking, she was hot on my heels, I tripped over my own feet, I turn just in time to see her pull out her knife, she pounces on me I squirm and kick, "I will get you Ruby, I won't let go, and this time you won't get away so easily." She promised
~end of dream ~
I bolt up in bed and I put my face in my hands as I let the tears flow, I heard my door slam open i felt hands wrap around me in a hug i knew it was ant Denette by all her lose hair around my hands, "it was just a nightmare, she can't get you." " but it felt so real, she promised, " i sobbed "she promised what?" Ant Denette asked, "that I wouldn't get away so easily this time." I whisper, " i think it's time to see mom and dad" she said, I furrowed my brows, the they shot up. Oh! I quietly followed ant Denette to grandpa and grandma's room, ant Denette poked her head in the door and whispered something grandma came to the door and nodded she lead us into her witch room thing? I have no idea what she calls it.
