•Fanny•
It looks like she's finally back into her senses. Her eyes widened upon hearing my words. Karina,wake up. Can't you see? She's your sister. Sorry Selena,I might have betrayed you for telling her who you are but this is the only way to protect you right now since she's already going crazy. I'm sorry.. I have to do this for you. " No... You're lying.. " She uttered. Tears started to form on her eyes. She tried to hold it back and said " She's already dead. I won't believe you.. No.. I won't.. " " Accept reality,young lass. " I glanced at Selena who was already unconscious. I carried her then starts to walk away. " You'll regret this. " I muttered. Upon arriving at the nearest forest,I layed her down on the ground then grabbed my handkerchief. I went to the river then makes the handkerchief wet. I went back to Selena then began cleaning her wounds. " Selena.. I'm sorry for being late. I don't want to show this to the queen. She might be frustrated and kick you out. " I just smiled. " I'll just let you rest for awhile. " I suddenly saw the bush moved. " Who's there? Reveal yourself right now! " I commanded then stood up. A familiar figure came out of the bush. A figure of a man with long brown hair. I stared at him and said. " What are you doing here,Zilong? " He puts his spear on the ground then sat down beside Selena. " Well,the queen sent me here to protect the two of you. " " Does she know all about these? Of what happened to Selena? " " Not at all. She just told me to check on the two of you. She just wants to know if Selena's mission with you is doing well. " I sighed in relief. " I beg you,don't tell this to the queen. " He then shrugs. " Alright. I'll keep it as a secret if that's what you want. " " Please do. " He just layed down on the ground beside Selena. " I'm quite tired,how about fetching me some- " Before he could even continue with his statement,I cutted him off. " Go get some food or drink for yourself. I'll just be with Selena. I can't trust you with her. " He then sighed in defeat. " Fine. " He then stood up then went somewhere to find some food. " F-Fanny...? " Selena uttered. I looked at her. She opened her eyes then began to look around. Selena then tried to stand up but she couldn't. She was about to trip but then I managed to hold onto her hand,preventing her from tripping. " Ahh.. T-thanks.. " She sat down beside me then leaned her head on my shoulder. " Rest first,you need to recover before we get back to the castle. " " But.. How are we going to tell the queen about our failed mission? " I remained silent. " I.. Honestly don't know how... " I scratched the back of my head. " I'm back. " " Ahh.. You're back. Great. " I said sarcastically. " Shush,Fanny. " He kept a blank expression on his face. Selena just giggled. " Oh,you're awake~ " He smiled at Selena. " What brings you here? " She asked. " The queen wanted me to check on the both of you. She wants to know if the mission's doing well. " Selena then said that the mission was a fail. " I recommend you to stay at the inn. I'll pay for it. " He stated. After talking for a few minutes,we get ourselves ready to make our way to the inn.

•Karina•
Still can't get over the fact that Selena's still alive. Is that really a fact or did Fanny just said that just for me to stop hurting that girl? I don't know anymore... I'm confused.. Thinking about things deeply is just making my headache worse. Someone knocked on the door,that certain person opened it. " Karina,are you alright? " That voice was Estes'. " Yes.. " He then walked towards me. He began casting a spell to heal the wounds I just got from our fight earlier. " There,much better. " He smiled then sat down beside me. " Who was that girl? " " My sister,Selena... And please,I don't want to talk about it. " Suddenly,he wrapped his arms around me,giving me a warm hug. " Don't worry. No matter what happens, I'll always be here for you. All of us. Your friends. " Friends,huh? He then stopped hugging me. Estes stood up then went to the door. " I'll just leave you here for awhile. Don't stress yourself too much. Just rest peacefully,alright? " Such a nice king he is. I nodded as a reply. He opened the door for him to go out then shuts it afterwards. I guess I should close my eyes for a bit. " I'll go and see Selena tonight. "

•Miya•
We were at the Swan Castle together with the rest of our squad members. Odette was discussing about our plan for our mission. " So,it's up to them. Let Alice and her members to initiate the fight. You shouldn't be the one to start it. That could be dangerous " She said while holding a cup of tea. " Yeah,I guess you're right. " Alucard replied while leaning his back on his chair. " Is Ruby around? I want to tell her something. " Odette asked us. We looked around but Ruby was nowhere to be found. " She headed somewhere. She told me that she's going to an important meeting. " Kagura replied. " I'll be the one to take care of her. I'll tell her about our plan. " She added. " Thank you,Kagura. " Odette smiled at her then stood up. " That's all for our meeting today. Hope to see you again. " She walked inside her castle. I sighed then went back to my brother's castle as well.

•Selena•
It was already dark. On our way to the nearest village where you can find a nice inn,the guards blocked us,saying that we are not allowed to go inside. Instead of fighting them,because of my injury,Fanny just decided to go back to the queen's place although it's dangerous. " But Fanny,what if the queen will punish you just because of me? " " No worries,I got this. " I sighed. I hope that we'll be alright,especially Fanny. As we got inside of the castle,Queen Alice seemed happy to see us. " Is the mission a success? " She asked us. Fanny and I remained silent. Thinking twice if we should say it or not. " N-No... " We saw the frustration on her face. You could tell that she's disappointed. " Fanny.. " Crap. Is she going to punish Fanny just because of my failure? " Go back to your room. I'm not allowing you to go outside. It's an order from a queen. " " Understood. " I was about to go with Fanny but then... " Selena,stay here. And you. " She pointed at the Zilong. " You may go to your room as well. " He bowed down then tapped my shoulder. " Goodluck. " Zilong went to his room straightly. " I guess,it was a mistake keeping you here. You're such a disgrace,Selena. And becoming Fanny's partner?.. " She laughed for a bit. " You're way too out of her league,young lass. Fanny is very successful and here you are.. On your main mission,you failed. " That's right,I'm a complete failure. A disgrace. I don't deserve to be her partner for the missions because I'll only make things harder for her. Tears formed on my eyes,I tried to hold it back. " You deserve death. " She uttered. Alice suddenly called someone,a figure of a young man showed up,holding a dagger right in front of me. " Say your last words,sweetie. You're about to lose your life tonight. " I closed my eyes. " Attack. " The man dashed towards me,I'm ready.. " Time to say goodbye. " All I could think about is my death. Yes,death... I sighed. ' Farewell. ' Closing my eyes for one last time. Feeling the pain that the dagger caused. The blade slowly deepens down my chest... I smiled for one last time... The last thing I heard was...

" Selena..! "

' Sorry. ' Was all I could utter before departing.

" Selena... "
