"Seryoso ka ba? Ha?!" Junhoe's father collared him with glaring eyes.
"Pa!" Sinubukan naman ng ilaw ng tahanan pigilan ang nangyayari. She pulled the old Koo's shoulder and embraced him on his backside to prevent things from further escalating.
With gritted teeth, the man's cold yet fierce glare never left his son's own.
The news was dawned on The Sovereign Royals' parents earlier by the headmistress herself. The old man was forced to cancel a conference meeting just to be blown by such horrid news. Who wouldn't be fuming mad?
"You just couldn't wait another year, can you? You really had to fucking commit some kind of assault before graduating, huh?" Mr. Koo taunted in rage.
Junhoe stood unfazed, and somewhat still looking proud. A small smug has slowly found its way on to his lips. His hand tighly gripping his jaw, specifically where the old man punched him earlier.
Seeing how his son handled all the stacked up problems with no care at all. The old Koo let out a loud exasperated sigh. It took so much self-control for the old man to stop himself from blowing out another punch to his son's face.
With his wife's sobs and shaky caresses brought about by desperateness, the old man calmed down a bit. He pinched the area above his nose bridge to think of a solution fast. He took quick breaths in the process of doing so to regain his composure.
"I gave you the freedom of joining whatever association you want. I gave you passes when you messed up before." He dragged out, each word tinted with a knowing emphasis of every unfortunate father hexed with a son like Junhoe.
The old man looked at his younger replica straight in the eye, "We let you choose for your life for fuck's sake!" nangangalati nitong sigaw.
"We only wanted to further expand our name in the industry but you really have to smudge it with dirt. Letting you party and drink is a thing, but almost murdering someone?" An anguish silence filled the already lifeless living room of the Koo's. Lumingo lingo ang haligi ng tahanan before scoffing at the problems brought about by his son.
Being disappointed with your child is one thing, but being disappointed on both your ways of raising one which resulted to a mess named June is a whole new different situation.
"Ayusin mo yang anak mo." He spat out before exiting. The traces of bad blood still lingering on the golden draped walls of the room.
His mom's teary eyes met his, it was then when his gaze softened.
"Anak." The lady croaked, eyes brimming with salty water and hands clamping desperately on her mouth.
Junhoe's facade broke a little and that's when they shared a warm embrace by themselves. A silent cry of his for the knowledge of the impact of his actions's consequences.
It's not new for Junhoe to see his mother crying over a wretched son like him, but to see his father enraged with a specific glint of of who knows what in his eyes? That's when he truly knew that he really did fuck things up.

"By now, all of you probably know that we've broken the news to your parents." There was a collection of sighs and grunts, but some can be seen with downcasted eyes too.
"Don't act like brats. Seryoso to. Now, I'm not gonna lecture you since I know you're already fed up with your parents last night." She eyed some kids with small bruises on their pretty boy faces.
