Everything in my life is ruined uurrgh....

*Alarm clock ringing*

"Riley! Get up, you don't want to miss the bus", grandma pulled my blanket while switching off the alarm clock.

"Can't I skip for a day... mmm...", I sunk into my blanket. "I don't feel good".

Grandma put her hand on my forehead to check my temperature.

"Really?", she said sarcastically.

"Pweeaseee...", I begged with puppy eyes.

Grandma sighed. "FINE, do what you want but don't come crying when things starts getting awkward tomorrow", she said as she walks out the door.

I averted my eyes, "I'm 16!", then, the door closed shut. I stared at the ceiling as I daydreamed about the things that will happen if I missed the FIRST day of school...

I might not have friends... everyone in Harince High School might already form groups and I'll be the loner during lunch. This is BAD!!

"Urgh...", I growled as I cover my face with a pillow hoping to suffocate and die...

"I miss emma...", I thought, feeling like I'm about to tear up but I'm doing my best to hold it in.

*Sigh*

"I better get dressed", I thought.
I chose to wear my grey hoodie and denim jeans, hoping I won't attract too much attention.

As I was walking down the stairs to the front door, grandma stopped me.

"Where are you going?"

"School. I changed my mind"

"That's great! but in... that", she pointed at my outfit.

"Yee.. aah"

"Oh no no no, get changed", she demanded.

"What!? Why?", confused.

"Deary, you won't attract cute guys with those kind of clothes on"

"That's the point. Grandma, you know I like nerds, right?"

"Nerds, really Riley? Do you ever thought of marrying  a cool guy who sweeps your feet off the ground and carry you in his arms like.."

"A princess? No! Grandma,  guys nowadays acts cool when they're not! Put on a fake smile, bullying the weak like they're SO great, fooling around with every girl they can grab! They're fucking pigs!", feeling pissed.

"Riley! What did I tell you about sworing", grandma warned me.

"Sorry...", I muttered.

Grandma sighed.

"Fine, if that's how you want to dress, then, beat it".

"Thanks grandma"

"Now off you go, fair maiden"

"Yes, my queen", I chuckled as I left.
