"Are you sure we can be in here?" Megan asked me for the fifth time, we were in a tunnel that leads to an old park where we spent practically our entire childhood in. We weren't doing something we shouldn't,well she wasn't.
I,on the other hand was finishing an old project of mine on the wall in front of me. Something that on my spare time(which was a lot) I discovered that graffiti was a great therapy. It really was something great. Being able to create a whole new world with just your fingers is truly amazing. What more could you want? A place where the word 'worrying' doesn't exist. As long you're expressing yourself without hurting others it couldn't be considered wrong could it? Megan seemed worried, the way she was clutching at her jacket and pacing around the tunnel like a post puppy wasn't uplifting at all.
" It's a public place, don't worry. Besides, no one comes here anymore" I assured her, grabbing another can from the floor. I heard her sigh. "Well, what if someone decides to do a search in here and find us?! You could get arrested for vandalism!" She called, so now I'm starting to get confused, she, like her sister never worries about anything.
They do whatever they want because they can and they're really lucky.
"Ok, breathe. I'm done anyways. Now, just tell me what's going on" I grabbed all the spray cans from the floor and organized them in my bag turning to the nervous girl offering her a cigarette. She visibly relaxed "I'm sort of dating this guy" she began, nodding I light up my cigarette returning the lighter to her.
"He's older than me. It's complicated I guess" Walking towards the end of the park I could feel her trying to spill the right words.
"His name is Trey and he's 25! That's not too old is it? I mean technically there's no problem because I'm legal but I'm scared" She breathed out.
"Zo, he's so extreme and different" The girl sounded so insecure so not herself. I'm not surprised at all, Megan could pull any guy she wanted beauty is something she had plenty of.
"It's okay. I don't think it's too old it really does depend on the point of view. Does he know?"
We found ourselves in front of McDonald's the only one around this area. Megan immediately grabbed my right hand and pushed me towards the door which made me laugh. It was Saturday afternoon so naturally it was practically full.
"Does he know what?" She asked me grabbing her purse. I rolled my eyes. "That you're 18, idiot" She grinned. "Yeah, I told him while we were fucking" Oh my God. She replied at the same the cashier asked us what we wanted to order, and yes she heard her.
I tried not to laugh.
After we order and paid we found a little table outside where we could smoke if we wanted to and our ears were safe from the little kids begging their parents for more fries.
Megan told me how she and her boy toy fucked more times than she could count and how they weren't actually dating but have been only sleeping with each other for awhile now.
I didn't ask her how she knew that. Bursting her bubble wasn't something I wanted to blamed for, plus she looked so alive while she was talking about this Trey her eyes were so bright and her smile grew a bit more every time she said his name. It was cute. She deserved that.
" There's some things that don't add up though. He never talks about himself; I don't know anything about him; I've been to his apartment once and that was when we first met. I don't know if he's an only child, if he went to high school or college. We talk so much, Zo but we don't say anything to each other. "she stopped to finish her burger. " The only thing we do is drink and fuck"
I didn't exactly know what to say, I mean she clearly fancies him and apparently he doesn't give her much. Hell, I know more about Harry Styles than she does about him.
