He had a tuft of black hair with silver eyes with streaks if sea green running through them.

"What is his name?" Hermes asked.

"Luke." Percy's voice cracked. "Luke Charles Jackson."

Hephaestus and Hermes started crying, they embraced the young son of Poseidon saying thank you over and over again.

"It is really nothing my lords, I want to make sure your sons remains in every ones mind as heroes." Percy said smiling.

Aphrodite and the rest of the gods came in. Aphrodite and Hera gasped at the cuteness of the baby.

"Can I please hold my grandson?" Hera asked excitedly, everyone chuckled but Artemis held her son out to her.

"What did you say his name was I heard a bunch of thank you's so I am assuming you named your son after some of the fallen heroes?" Hera asked cooing at her grandson, who was giggling.

"His name is Luke Charles Jackson." Percy state proudly.

"Come on Luke you have to do better." Luke's father said exasperated.

"But dad this sword is so heavy." Luke whined the eight year old hated training with his dad, he was to tough with him.

"You need to learn how to fight son I am sorry but I need you to be the best you can possbily be OK?" His father said his eyes shining with concern and nervousness. Luke's father is Percy Jackson, who was a legend in the demigods eyes, facing more enemies than Luke could even imagine.

"Fine do fifty more reps and you can get off training." His father said, Luke sighed and started working on his reps.

After he was done with his reps he went to his mothers cabin, and grabbed two cokes that he got his uncle Travis son of Hermes to get for him. He wasn't his actual uncle but he considered Travis, his brother Connor, wife Katie, Clarisse and her husband Chris his family. He had to consider his cousin Jason and his wife family as well cause they actually were but still.

He sat beside the tree and it's protector a dragon called, Peleus, a dragon that was pretty old as his father told him that dragon was there since he had been thirteen he was sitting on the grass his head resting on Peleus body and his hand scratching Peleus's skull absent mindly.

Than he saw a sight that truely terrified him, a young girl about his age she had mid lengthed black hair, she was running with a saytr from a two hellhounds, Luke grabbed his trusty bow and arrow from a braclet his mother, Artemis, had given to him fro his fifth birthday.

One of the hellhounds pounced on the saytr, he screamed in agony as the hound bit into his neck and with a vicious whip of the head the hellhound tore out the throat of the satyr, in a bright flash he turned into a red wild rose.

Luke drew a arrow and the lesson his mom taught him about archery appeared in his head. Inhale and as you exhale release the bow make sure the bow stays in the same position as you fire or you can miss the shot.

Luke breathed in and out calmly and released the arrow, the arrow took flight straight and true and pierced the throat of the hellhound, it yelped and disappeared in a shadow. The other hellhound looked over to Luke it's glowing red eyes blazing with hate and anger. It growled and charged at Luke as he calmly put an arrow in the string, the hellhound thirty feet away, twenty feet as Luke drew back the bow, ten feet as Luke breath in, five as he breathed out, the hellhound leaped at Luke as he released the arrow. The arrow hit it's mark right between the eyes of the hellhound, it crumbled to shadow before it landed in front of Luke.

He ran to the frightened girl who was by the red flower weeping.

"Are you OK?" Luke asked. The girl looked at him and he gasped in awe. She was well tanned, her face was angled her chin pointed, her eyes were emerald green like the children of Demeter.

"Yes just Frank was a really good friend." The girl sobbed, and something clicked in his mind.

"Frank? Frank Hedge?" Luke said cautiously.

The girl looked confused but nodded. "No that can't be right he was to good and excellent fighter like his dad." Luke said distantly, Frank Hedge was the son of Gleeson Hedge a saytr and a wind nymph named Mellie, Frank was twenty four years old but he looked Luke's age as saytrs age slower than humans.

"What is your name?" Luke asked the girl.

"Crystal LaGrande, you?" Crystal stated.

"Luke Jackson son of Percy and Artemis." Luke stated proudly, he grabbed the rose that now was Frank. He walked up the hill with Crystal and learned that her father had been killed and Frank and her had to run here because of the hellhounds.

Luke knew that Crystal was a daughter of Demeter and his suspicion was confirmed as soon as Crystal stepped through the camp boundaries as green scythe appeared above her head. Luke gave her a tour of camp and explained about western civilization, he than brought her to Chiron and told him what happened than introduced Crystal to her siblings. After he dropped her off, he went and found Gleeson and Mellie Hedge, and dropped of the rose explaining what happened and left tearing up.

The next day most of the camp attended the funeral of Frank Hedge, as they planted his rose in the forest. After that I went to bed as my mother visited me in a dream.

"Hello Luke." She smiled warmly at me, I smiled back.

"Hello mom."

"I watched you train with your father today." Artemis said with a smirk as Luke groaned.

"You have to try harder Luke, your destiny holds great danger and I need you to learn. Please I can't bear to see you get hurt. Ask your father about the great prophecy, he will ask you a question. You will know the answer. Goodbye my son I will see you tomorrow."

Luke woke up and went to his father cabin and knocked, his father answered a couple minutes later in shorts and a t-shirt.

"Morning Luke, what is troubling you?" Percy asked.

"Mom said to ask you about the great prophecy." Luke informed his father.

"Why should I let you fight?" Percy asked his tone guarded.

"Because everyone has their fight and this is mine, and I will not face it like a coward but stare it in the eye like a hero."

"Come in son we have much to discuss." Percy said as he moved to the side letting his son in.
