Chapter I

"I know," he hissed on his phone as he watch the road blocked by cars. "I'm almost there."

"I told you to leave much earlier." The panicky and flimsy voice of Peach, his manager and friend, came booming from the other line. "We can't fuck this up, you little rascal. It took me ages just to get you this audition."

"I know, Pee." He unconsciously rolled his eyes. "I'll be there in ten minutes."

"Hurry up," the effeminate manager said. "Arrrrghhh... my make up will melt because of you."

"Sorry na Pee khap..." He gave himself a nervous smile as he tried to make his voice as lovely and adoring as possible. He knows that no matter what happens, his manager will support him all out.

"Fine, fine." His gay manager said. "I'm putting this call down. You're number 27 in the roll call. It's number 23 already. For the love of God, Copter. Please hurry up."

"I will." He sighed as he watched the hopeless situation of the traffic. "Bye now."

Please, Copter thought as he tossed the phone to the passenger seat and closed his eyes out of desperation and hopelessness

Please, Copter thought as he tossed the phone to the passenger seat and closed his eyes out of desperation and hopelessness. He unconsciously gripped the stirring wheel of his car out of anxiety. Let me get there on time. I really need this.

He kept his eyes closed and loosen his grip on the stirring wheel of his car. He took in a deep breathe and released it with utter calm, as a way to soothe his mind.

I need to calm down, Copter thought. I need to think on how I can get to the studio in time.

He inhaled again, in the same slow pace as earlier. His lungs got filled with air and his chest raised against his seat belt. He held it for several seconds, then let it go, as careful as he took it in. He then opened his eyes, but to his shock, gone were the road he was traversing earlier.

He swear he almost dropped off his feet upon gazing at this unfamiliar, and potentially dangerous place, where he suddenly popped up. It's like changing a scene in a movie where in one instant flash, a completely different scene showed up and nothing is the same as the previous picture. He knows his eyeballs are way out of there sockets with shock.
