Once we got back to the hotel, the first place we went was to Niall’s. He pulled out his lap top and pulled up twitter. “Oh yeah, I forgot about that!” I said, sitting beside him. “Username?” he asked me. “How about ItsSimplyAnnie?” I asked. “Sounds like you.” He typed it in. I took it from him and typed my password. I did the other stuff while he put the app on my phone. I signed in on there and handed it back to him.
“You need an icon.” He said, clicking on it. Harry came over and sat on the other side of me while Liam, Zayn, and Louis leaned over the back of the couch. Niall held his arm up with the camera pointed on all of us. He took the picture and set it. “I love it.” I said.
“You guys better go start to pack, I know how you divas are.” I kidded. They all gasped. “Do you know what happened to the first person that called us divas?” Harry asked, while they were all leaning in closer to me. I raised my eyebrows. “They got punished with a TICKLE ATTACK!” they all started to tickle me wildly. “I CAN’T BREATHE!” I gasped when they stopped. “One of you elbowed me in the boob!” I growled. “Didn’t need to know that.” They all sat down.
“Let’s go pack, guys.” Liam directed. They all got up and left. I fell over on Niall who was sitting beside me. “I can’t wait to meet your sister.” He brushed the hair out of my eyes. “She’s great. You’ll love her.” I said. “Not as much as I love you.” He leaned over and kissed me. I smiled.
“Niall, nobody has ever been so nice to me.” I looked up at him. “That is their loss.” He said. “Really. I appreciate you and the guys taking me in like family.” I thought about how I wasn’t ever aloud to talk to my cousins. “Listen to me. Anybody that has ever been mean or rude to you, doesn’t deserve you.” He reached over and played with my hair.
“Let’s get you packed.” I pulled him over to his suitcase. “Make sure you bring a polo shirt and a couple sweaters to wear over it.” I said. “Why?” he asked. “It’s cold up there.” I answered. He smiled.
“What time are we leaving?” he asked. “10:30, but we have to be at the airport by 9:30” I answered. “Yay!” he cheered. “You know I’m grumpy in the morning, so wake me up at 6:30 so I won’t fuss at everyone.” I said. “You are cute when you’re grumpy.” He walked over to me. “I’m also mean.” I said. “I don’t care.” He leaned in and kissed me, and then Louis and Harry barged in. “Gross!” Louis covered his eyes. I laughed.
“You guys ready?” I asked. “Yep!” they both answered. Just then, Liam and Zayn walked through the door. “You ready?” I asked. “Yeah!” they said. “Good. We have to be at the airport by 9:30!” I said. “That means you’ll be grumpy in the morning!” Harry said. “No, I told Niall to wake me up at 6:30 so I wouldn’t be for your information!” I said, pretending to be mad at him. “Sorry.” He patted my back.
“Okay. So, my mom said that she would pick us up at the airport when we arrive. Which means that she is going to take us to the house to drop our things off, then she will take us to the hospital but you guys have to stay away from my sister, then we will go back home to have dinner.” I told them. “You really are stressed out about this aren’t you?” Niall said, massaging my shoulders.
“I just don’t want anything to go wrong because my mom is always trying to kid and cheer people up when it isn’t necessary and my sister doesn’t know half of the stuff that has happened in the past year, which is one of our most important years. Nobody ever would’ve expected this to happen and my family is just annoying! That’s why I left!” I said. I hadn’t just let my thoughts free like that in a while. I covered my mouth as I realized that I said ‘that’s why I left’.
“What do you mean ‘why you left’?” Niall asked. “What did I just do?” I whispered to myself. “I was going through a lot when my father left because my sister was having school drama, I was being bullied, and my mom was just being mad at both of us. It tore our family apart and I left. I didn’t come back for about 3 weeks.” I said. My voice was beginning to crack and I was tearing up. Niall put his arm around me and I buried my face in my hands.
“I’m really sorry.” Harry patted my back again. “You don’t have to be.” I said. Niall rubbed my arm. “That’s why I’m so stressed about this. I haven’t talked to my mom like we used to in about 2 years. When I got my job I felt more independent and it made me proud.” I wiped my eye. “We’re here for you.” Liam said. “Yeah.” They all added.
“Not to change the subject or anything but I need a nickname for you!” Louis said. I laughed. “Okay. Like what?” I asked. “What were you called when you were in school?” he asked. “I can’t repeat those words because there are children in the room.” I said, laughing. “I meant the good things!” he laughed. “I don’t know. You come up with it.” I said. “I’ll think about it.” He said.
After that we just sat around and talked until the guys decided that they needed to go finish packing. It was about 7:30 and I told Niall that I was going to go get my things. “Stay with me tonight.” He begged. “I am going to go get my finishing touches on my bags and then I will come back, okay?” I said. “Yay!” he ran his fingers through his hair. I went over to my room and cleaned up a bit and grabbed my things that I stuffed in a carry-on bag. I then walked back to Niall’s room.
“I missed you!” he said, hugging me when I walked in. I laughed. “Here’s my other bag.” I said, walking over and setting it on my suitcase. “I’m excited for tomorrow.” He said, wrapping his arms around me from behind. “Me too. But you have to remember what I told you guys about my mom. She’s edgy, but cool.” I said. “Don’t worry about a thing. I am going to make sure that everything is going to turn out perfectly fine.” He kissed my cheek.
“I’m going to bed now so that I won’t be grouchy in the morning. Goodnight.” I kissed him and walked over to the bed to lay down. He walked over and did the same. This was going to be a great week.
