Harmony's POV:
Diggy has been a good assistant these past few days and he has been a real gentlemen. He hasn't said not one rude thing to me, which I am happy about. So to thank him for the nice things he has done for me I decided to invite him to dinner tonight with me and my boyfriend.
"Diggy, can I ask you something? " I asked.
"Sure, what is it?" he asked back sounding concerned.
"I wanted to thank you for all the nice things you have done for me, so I wanted to know if you wanted to come to my house for dinner tonight with me and my boyfriend Ray. " I asked politely.
"Of course, I would love to. Thank You for inviting me." he replied.
"Of course, so meet me at my house at 7:30 sharp. Okay?"
"Okay"
We finished off our day as usual then I went home and started to cook dinner. Shortly after I started cooking, Ray walked into the door.
"Hi Sweetie. " I said to him.
"Sup " he said simply walking past me.
"We are just waiting on Diggy then we will eat. "
"Okay, " he said not looking at me as he made his way to the living room.
A few minutes later my doorbell rung and I went to go get it. I opened the door to see Diggy standing there looking handsome as always. He was wearing some blue jeans. A white tee, the white grape 5's, and a purple hornets snapback.
"Wow, Diggy you look great!" I grinned to him.
"You don't look so bad yourself. "he said to me.
I moved aside and let him come in.
"Okay dinner will be ready shortly. Diggy you can go sit on the couch and make your self comfortable. " I said to him
"Aight. " he said and walked into the living room.
Diggy's POV:
I walked into the living room and sat down and watched the TV till Harmony called us to the kitchen.
"Guys, Dinner is ready!"
We got up and made out way to the kitchen. When we walked into the kitchen the table was set and our plates were sitting on our place mats. We all made our way to our seats and we sat down.
"Shall we bleeding the food?" Harmony said. "Diggy, may you do the honors?"
"Of course, everyone bow your heads and close your eyes.
Dear heavenly father,
we thank you for this food for the nourishment and strength of our bodies. May we bless the hands that prepared this meal in Jesus name I pray. Amen!"
Then we all started to eat.
"Oh, I don't think you guys have met. Ray, this is Diggy my co-worker/Assistant, and Diggy this is my boyfriend Ray. "Harmony introduced.
"Sup man." I said to him. He just gave me a simple head nod.
I cleared my throat and started talking again.
"Harmony, this food is great, you really know your way around the kitchen. " I complemented.
"Oh, Thank You Diggy." she replied. It was sort of odd because she had hardly touched her food.
"Harmony, you have hardly touched your food. "I said to her.
"Yeah, you know your big ass wants some. And when your done you can go back for fifths. " Ray said with a sly smirk.
As soon said he said that my jaw clenched.
"Yo, man that was uncalled for." I said to him.
"Shut tf up man. You know she is the size kg a pumpkin. " he said back to me.
I looked over at Harmony to see her trying to fight back her tears.
"Get Out!" I shouted.
"Man, I'm not going anywhere. "
"Get tf out, before I help you. "
"Man, you not gone do sh- "
He was cut off from my fist connecting to his mouth. He stumbled back and touched his busted lip.
"Man Whatever, Harmony I'll be over here tomorrow." He said before walking out and slamming the door.
"Are you okay Harmony? " I asked her.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm used to it." she replied.
"And that's not a good thing." I said to her.
"I know, but I can't change how he feels. " she said back to me.
"Then why do you stay with him?" I asked her.
"Because I love him."
"Do you think he loves you? " I asked her slowly.
She didn't answer. So I took that as a no. There was a awkward silence for a good 5 minutes.
"Well I think I should go." I said slowly.
"Umm, yeah. I will see you at work tomorrow. " she replied.
"Okay. " I said, then I walked out to my car and drive home. That dinner was quite interesting.
