The next day i woke up groggily throwing my blue comforter off of me. I walk to the bathroom passed my sisters room and shut the door slowly. As soon as i got off of the toilet my sister was at the door wide awake yelling my name to hurry up.
"Come'on Susie!, i Have to pee!" she said twisting and riddling the knob.
"im almost done can you just wait!" I started to get up and quickly brush my teeth. I suddenly heard my parents door open, It always had that one creek that i always remember.
"Susie, please hurry up we all need to get in there". As soon as my mom could even grab the door knob i quickly opened it with frustration and just looked at them both. "Are you happy now?". I quickly walked out and into my room.
after putting on my clothes for school i headed downstairs.
It was in the middle of November, though it was chilly it was still a bit warm out, so my mom would try to make me wear a hat. The ugliest hat I've ever seen. It is yellow with one blue stripe in the middle. Hand made by my grandma.
I tried to rush out of the door to avoid my mom giving it to me... but it didn't work she ran out the door behind me.
"hey, put this on Hun". she said as she put the hat on my head.
I just went with it of course. Even though it was ugly i still just kept on walking. I hate going to school at times because of seeing him, like what would i say if he approaches me?. wait, he would never even do that, he would never have a bit of interest in me.
I got to school and walked to my locker quietly. My friend Alexis came up to me and started talking to me as usual. I got ready to talk to her until her boyfriend came over and staring kissing her.
"um, Susie can we talk later?." she said walking away with him. I just nodded and turned back to my locker. Shes so lucky to have a boyfriend.
"um.. hi Susie" i heard a soft voice from the other side of my locker door. I couldn't believe it, was he really talking to me? I turned my head to see if he was really talking to me and i guess he was.
"hi". i said quietly.
"i was just wondering if you would want to meet me at the mall tomorrow". He said looking right into my eyes grinning.
"ye-yes, id love to".
i could even feel my heart beat anymore, did he just ask me out on a date?
