It was a good Monday, they were all still still sleeping by 8am because there was an holiday.
Happy woke up, she was trying to wake her sisters when she heard a knock at the door, she moved silently to sitting room and check the time, it was 8:14am, she moved to the door and opened it ajar, she was surprised when she met a short woman holding a flower and an envelope, She opened her eyes widely and greeted the woman.
"My daughter!, help me give this gift to your father, tell him that his sister brought this" the woman said.
Happy was shocked because he had never seen any relative with her father and this seemed like a dream to her.
She closed the door as she watched the woman going, she dropped the flower and the envelope on the table and went back to wake up her sisters and her twin brother Charles.
Mr Uche was hearing all what the woman was telling her, he was awake and he was expecting such gift before but only Ngozie knows the woman and she was the only one who usually collect the flower when it is time for any festival.
Mr Uche drove his wheelchair to the sitting room, carried the flower and the envelope and he moved in to his room and shut the door.
Happy woke her sisters and was going to Charles's room when she noticed that the flowers was taken and the envelope too wasn't there anymore.
She looked dissapointed and she went back to their room and narrated all what had happened, Ngozie wasn't surprised but she pretended like she was surprised.
Chizo was still battling with the sleep, though her eyes were not closed but she was stretching like an earthworm inside salt.
As she heard what Happy said, she stood up and asked two questions at a time.
"When did that happened?, Why can't you wake us? "
Happy looked more frustrated and got angry, she couldn't answer the question.
Ngozie ordered her to go and wake Charles and their father for morning devotion.
He stepped out and found Charles and their father eating the food that he left yesterday night, she went in to gist her sisters about what she met at the dining table and to sort the scenario of the flower before their father get to know.
