Zacky's POV
Sometimes trying to reason with Brian can be a total waste of time.
After his bitching and moaning all the way down to the coffee shop, I had it.
"Stop being a jack ass! This band is our chance man! I know you think you're better than all of us, but you need us just like we need you."
"I get that, but we don't need her!" He growled.
"We do need her, we need everything we can get to help us."
"Why the hell does it have to be her?"
"I don't know for sure, but I think it's because she's the newest person and paid the least. You know Paul is doing this as a favor to Larry."
No matter how much he's paying her, it's too much."
"Damn! She really has gotten under your skin! I honestly like her and think she could be great for us, she's got spunk and she doesn't take shit from you. That's a pretty good quality if you ask me."
"Fuck you Baker. What the hell is taking so long? I'm not sitting her all fucking day while they kiss her ass!"
"Shut the fuck up, you don't have anything else to do today. It's your fault if they have to kiss her ass."
He was silent after that, just mumbling every now and then as he sipped his coffee.
"Total bull shit...snooty bitch...make me say I'm sorry...fuck this shit."
Then all the sudden he practically yells.
"Where the fuck are they? I'm going back up there." He got out of his chair and turned around running smack dab into Jimmy's chest.
"I don't think so buddy, you've done enough damage today." Jimmy said quietly as everyone in the coffee shop was staring after Brian's outburst.
"We're heading back home, Zacky's driving and you're going to listen to us and keep your fucking mouth shut." Matt whispered through gritted teeth.
Brian's POV
The whole way back to Huntington Beach, I was lectured and scolded like a fucking child. Finally, I had it.
"I'm not going to play nice with this bitch. I'm sure Larry can talk to his friend and get us someone else.
"Do you realize that she almost lost her job thanks to you!" Matt said.
"Sounds like her problem, not mine." I said, determined not to be forced into a guilt trip.
"Do you care about anyone, Haner!" Matt practically yelled. Jimmy was finally the voice of reason.
"Brian is one of us, if he doesn't want to work with her for whatever jacked up, selfish reason, then we have to respect that."
"What?" Matt growled with surprise, glaring at Jimmy. Suddenly he calmed down
and knew he was defeated.
"What the fuck?" Zacky called from the front seat.
"He's right, Zacky. If Brian is against this, then we have to respect that."
"You're kidding right? You're going to let him dictate all the fucking decisions?"
All the sudden, Zacky said "Ouch!"
"What the fuck is going on?" I asked.
"My leg just cramped from driving so long, I'm fine. But hey, that's my problem, right?"
