Walking down the street,
I see their stares piercing through my soul
Their stares indicating that I am impure,
If they allow their children to walk along the same street as me,
I would tear up their children's milky white innocence.
My hijab, they say ,is a threat to their freedom,
And for the mere freedom they are stripping me off.Author's note:
