Have you ever wondered how are you going to live your life? Are you going to live it with happiness? Sadness? Families? Friends? Love? Heartbreak? Well I have, my name is Jessica Bennett. You can call me Jess. And this is about a story of a girl who's been through heartbreak, who's seen life who's been through hell and back and who's seen LOVE. So basically this is a story about me.
Most people think I'm the type of girl who's rich, sweet, kind, pretty, popular, smart etc. So to put it down, most people think I'm perfect. Well I'm not going to deny it, I am. With really great parents, with a big house, with loads of friends, with good grades, with basically everything a girl could ask for. But there is one thing that I don't have, and that's LOVE.
They say love is the most powerful thing in the world. But is it really the most powerful thing? Well, I don't know because I never have one before. Know you must probably think "how could you not know, you have a really great family who loves you, friends who stick by you 'till the end". Well, that's how it used to be.
It started when I was in my first year in middle school...
"Beep, beep, beep." The alarm clock started ringing.
"Ugh, five more minutes." I groaned as I turned off the alarm clock.
I went back to sleep but got interrupted-again-as my phone started ringing. I woke up and answered the phone not bothering to check who it was that called me at this hour.
"Hello?" I asked groggily.
"Hey, Jess. Are you ready to go to school?" my bff, Jenna, said.
"What?" I asked as I thought school was tomorrow.
"Don't you remember? Today's the first day of middle school!" Jenna practically shouted out of excitement.
"Wait, what?! School's today?!" I was practically jumping out of bed when I said this.
"Yeah, sleepyhead. You better get washed up because school starts in 20 minutes!" Jenna said. And after that ended the call.
I was literally running around the room trying to get prepared as for today-as Jenna had pointed out-is the first day of middle school. After I'm done washing my self, i put on the clothes that Jenna picked out for me to wear on the first day few days backA/N Minus the hat and the bag.
and putting everything that i need in the new bag that my mom gave me on my birthday.

I went down to the stairs to the kitchen. As I made my way to the kitchen, the smell of food circled around me. I saw mom making pancakes. Dad was sitting at the dining table reading the newspaper."So, what's for breakfast?" I asked.
"Morning, honey." Mom and dad said at the same time.
"Well I made your favorite. Pancakes with syrup and berries on top." Mom said while putting the pancakes on my plate.
I took a sit next to dad and enjoyed the delicious pancakes.
"What do you know, a girl went missing." Dad said in surprised.
"What?!" Me and mom said together.
All of looked at the news.
"On Saturday, 12:00 p.m. A girl name Ashley Jordan went missing after a party was finished. The police says they'll do anything in their power to find the missing girl..." Mom read out the news.
"The girl's parents must be worried sick." Mom said.
"Thank goodness you don't go to parties." Dad said.
"Yeah, people could harass you at a party." Mom said.
I looked at the clock and noticed it's already 8:15 a.m.!!!
"Oh shoot, I'm going to be late! Thanks mom for the pancakes." I said while hugging my mom.
"Your welcome sweetie, have fun on your first day." Mom said while hugging me back.
"Be the best in class." Dad said while hugging me.
"I will." I said while breaking from the hug.
"Bye!" I said while going out the door.
I saw a car waiting in front of my house. The car's window wind down and I saw Jenna and her older sister Bella.
"Hurry up and get in." Jenna yelled.
I quickly got into the car.
"Hey guys and thanks for the ride." I said.
"Well we aren't going to leave you behind." Jenna said.
"Seat belts on?" Bella asked.
"Yes, can we go now? I don't want to be late on my first day of school." Jenna said while crossing her hands together.
"Okay, okay." Bella said.
Bella started driving. It was really quiet in the car.
"Hey did you guys hear the news? A girl named Ashley went missing on Saturday." Jenna said.
"Yeah, I saw it on the newspaper today." I said.
"Hey, isn't she the same age as you guys?" Bella asked.
"Yeah, she is. If I remembered it correctly, she's the one who's a snobbish queen." Jenna said.
"Oh yeah! The one used to bully the nerds and tried to be "besties" with us!" I said recalling the memory when I first met Ashley when I was 7.
"Yup that's the one! And I actually think it's a good idea she's gone. She's really getting on my nerves." Jenna said while rolling her eyes.
"I don't think you should think like that Jenna. It's actually pretty serious if someone went missing." Bella said.
"Whatever. At least I don't have to hear her boast anymore." Jenna said.
I laughed at her statement. It is kind of true. Everyday, Ashley would pick on some kid and then she would just act like she's a queen. And with every attempt she tries to be friends with me and Jenna is just going to be hard, especially when she treats people like their dirt."We're here!" Bella said while pulling up the car.
"Ok, so don't get in too much trouble you two." Bella said.
"Relax sis. We won't. When did we ever get in trouble." Jenna said while smiling mischievously at her sister.
"I'm not worried about Jessica." Bella said that after driving off to her school.
"Unbelievable." Jenna muttered while rolling her eyes.
I laughed at this and I turned to look at our school. And I was amazed by how big it is.
"Wow!" Jenna exclaimed in awe.
I too was amazed at the beauty of the school that I didn't realized I've been standing there for quite a long time.
"Come on!" Jenna said while happily pulling me along with her as we entered the school grounds
I think this will be an interesting and great year. I can't wait for first period.A/N:
