Hi, my name is Hazelyn but everyone calls me Haze. I am 17 years old, but I already graduated high school.
I am not an ordinary 17 year old girl, I am a werewolf. I don't know who my mate is but I've never really tried to find out, I could really care less. By the way, I belong to the Full Moon pack, the fifth strongest pack in the world.
I played lacrosse in high school, I also played softball. But now I mainly focus on trying to find a good college, someday I want to be a pack doctor.
I kind of avoid my pack most of the time, I live on an apartment with my best friend, Morgyn, who is also in my pack.
Morgyn and I were getting ready to go to a party hosted by our alpha, a bunch of other packs from around our area would be there.
"I am so excited, what if we find our mates?!" Morgyn said excitedly.
"That would be nice, but if they were from a different pack we might not see each other much." I reminded her
"That's true." She said
"But still I guess it would be nice" I said
We had just finished getting ready, I was wearing a tight, silky, short black dress, with my red hair in a messy bun. Morgyn was wearing a blue form fitting dress that went down to her knees, she looked absolutely gorgeous.
I have a lot of self conscious problems because my last boyfriend from another pack told me I was fat, Morgyn is always telling me he wasn't right, but it still hurts.
There was a honk outside I knew it was Ally, another friend from the pack. I opened the window.
"We'll be down in a sec" I yelled down
She gave me a thumbs up, Morgyn and I grabbed our jackets and phones. We went out the door and jumped in Ally's car.
We drove about 45 minutes, then we arrived. I got out and observed my surroundings, the party was already blasting around us and we were on some sort of hill, the moon was covered by the clouds.
Morgyn and I squeezed our way through the crowd, leaving Ally with her boyfriend.
We started dancing, then I looked around and didn't see Morgyn next to me....
