Scott's POV

I sit by Mitch's bed as the doctor checks up on him again. Today it's Abby. She's a good doctor. I've gotten to know her for the 8 months I've been here. "Mr.Hoying could we talk out here.", she gestures out into the waiting rooms.

"Sure." My stomach drops as I follow her out.

"Mitch isn't getting any better. We think it's time to call it, but since you have taken the responsibility of deciding what happens to Mitch, you need to make the final decision.. I know you're going to have to give it a-lot of thought, but think of what would be best for Mitch. I'll give you some space. You can go back in when you are ready."

I have to choose whether or not I'm going to give up on Mitch. I grab the trash can by me and throw up.
