Hi, it's Charlie here again.

Today, I was having trouble without my wings but they're getting here tomorrow. I having a bit of trouble with boys. There's this male angel I really really like. I mean like like. He's really cute, his brown hair flops over his eye so cutely. He's the only angel who's different, he cut up all his angel dresses (yes, the boys wear dresses) and made T-shirts and shorts. The Angel Headmistress decided to introduced this new style; and now all the boys wear T-shirts and shorts. All the boys envy him but all the girls adore him, I don't know how I was going to get him to notice me. His name is Shane and he's 16 years old but he's 6 months older than me.

This morning, I dressed in my favourite purple sparkly dress. I peeked my head out through my door; I could hear the faint buzz of the dining hall. I crept out and headed towards the dining hall. It was buzzing with noises, plates clattering, girls gossiping and boys shouting. I lined up in the food line, receiving my food I power-walked to the last seat on my friends' table. I could see that Maisie was going for it too; she flew slowly over everyone's heads not noticing me getting closer to the table. I charged through all the boys and plunked myself down on the empty seat, relieved. I instantly started chattering to my friends.

Masie stopped when she reached the table, she wasn't one of the nice girls in our group and I didn't like her. She cleared her throat and I glanced up,

"Any reason why you disturbed me from my conversation?" I said, the hall went quiet.

"That's my seat." She hissed.

"I don't see your name on it." I looked her up and down then turned away. The hall went 'ooooo'. She wasn't worth my breath. I started to eat my bowl of Cornflakes.

"Look, I'm not gonna be nice about this." She grinned. "Get off my chair."

"Once again, I say I don't see your name on it."

"Well, I'm telling you to get up."

"No."

"Refuse me one more time and I'll-"

"Read my lips," I formed my words slowly. "No." She tugged my hair, pulling me up from the seat. I screeched. She pushed me onto the floor, she took her seat at the table. She picked up my tray and dumped its contents on my head, then chucked the tray missing an angel by a inch. She giggled, dropping her tray on the table.

"Woops." She grinned and flew off to get cutlery.

I tried to get up but it resulted in me slipping over and landing on the floor again. Everyone laughed at me, even my so-called friends sniggered. I tried and tried again, only to hit the floor again and receive a fit of laughter. I closed my eyes as I lay on the floor, the light reflecting off my eyes. Everyone went quiet and something blocked the light. My eyes flickered open to see Shane holding out his hand for me to grab. I grabbed it and he pulled me up.

"Thanks." I blushed.

"No problem,...?"

"Charlie." I answered.

"Charlie, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too." I smiled. "Well, I'm going to get changed because suddenly I'm not hungry." I pointed to my dress as he laughed and I joined in. I could feel Maisie's eyes burning into my back. She had a better figure than me, luscious golden brown hair. Overall, she was prettier than me, she was jealous. Every girl liked Shane including Maisie, even though Maisie was the most popular girl in this school, try as she might Shane hadn't touched her. On puurpose. (A/N: I put two u's on purpose.)

"See you around then, Charlie." He flashed me a superstar grin and strolled off to his table. I walked out of the dining room, my heart flew out of my chest and circled the whole school twice. I skipped to my room, overjoyed. I was the first girl in this school to be touched by Shane. On puuuurpose.
