As Bridgette walked upstairs she saw her parents unwrapping the gifts they had gotten for Charlotte. She froze "that could've been Charlotte standing there unwrapping each gift with a smile on her face and  happiness would fill the air, but some jerk thought it would be okay to ruin someone's chance at life" Bridgette thought with irritation running through her. She walked up to the table where her parents were as she just stood there and stared at what her parents were doing. "Yes Bridgette" Adaline said with calmness and a hint of anger. "Oh I just wanted to see what you two were doing" Bridgette said awkwardly. "We finally found a place where we can eat it is a little far but it's better than eating in" Diego explained "would you like to join". "Anything would be better then just lounging around in this house, especially alone" Bridgette stated with a dull voice. "Great" Bridgette's mother aforesaid with unknown emotions. Moments later the family was walking outside and into the car. For 45 minutes Adeline and Diego talked and talked as Bridgette sat in the back still trying to wrap her head around everything that happened yesterday. " Maybe Charlotte had a stalker, maybe it was mom or dad, maybe she did it to herself, whatever it is I can't just be stuck like this, it is as if I'm standing in the middle of the highway with cars passing by me every second making it impossible for me to get to the other side" Bridgette stated. After what felt like eternity they finally got out of the car and walked up to BILLIE'S DINER it was a small uncared for place looking as if no one work there anymore. The three walked in to see one person standing at the cash register. It was a girl that looked like she was in her mid 60s and in a extremely foul mood. "Can I help you" the lady exclaimed with irritation. "Oh we are just looking at the menu right now" my father said. As I began to read the menu it seemed as if they were low on food resources and only had a limited amount seeing they only had about five items on the menu. "Any occasion like a birthday or something, we don't usually get visitors" stated the cashier lady. The thought filled my mind as I remember yesterday was charlottes birthday she was turning 23 "oh she had so many plans here" I said out-loud as multitudinous tears began to run down my face. "We probably would've came here with her, I would've talk to her the whole car ride about conspiracy theories about this place and so much more " I cried. "I am sorry" the women said confused. "It's alright" my mother said as she rolled her eyes. My parents ordered as I went into the bathroom and wipe my eyes off I splash my face with water and looked at myself in the cracked mirror " this can't be happening, no it can't why her why now what did she do to deserve this she had all of her plans and dreams ruined because of a some idiot!" I said in pain. I walked out to see the food was already ready and my parents were eating I had gotten a foul smelling and looking hotdog. I only ate a couple bites of it and then pretended to be sick. We walked back into the car as my mother said " Bridgette why did you do that, we don't want people to know what happened, did you do that on purpose did you think we would get something out of it " Adeline said with frustration . "Why would I ever do that I loved Charlotte with all my heart and now that she's gone I don't know what I'm gonna do, I talked to her almost every night about everything. She was my best friend she did everything for me she always had my back always tried to help solve my problems she acted more like a mother than you did to me" Bridgette exclaimed with rage boiling inside of her. The car ride was silent for the rest of the drive. When we got home I rush to my room without a word. While Bridget got closer and closer to her room door she heard her phone ringing, it was Sasha.  Sasha was sending her multiple videos of vines. Bridget chuckled a little bit as she watched a few of them. After 10 minutes go by she remembered something, when she was in six grade, they had told her about how the police figured out if a person was killed by someone or they killed him self. She began to look up how to tell by the different marks on someone's body. As the sun began to set Bridget walked upstairs to go and examine the marks that were on charlottes body. "So it was a homicide, that secousse will pay for what they did" Bridgette stated as she ran back down to her room "First thing in the morning I will tell them" Bridgette explains as she started to fall asleep.
