The parents of Taiyo and Hikari race against time before their planet is destroyed. They came across a pod but the pod is for one person. They decided to send the twins and save them while they stay behind.
"I know you two can't understand me, but please take care of each other." their mother says as she places her necklace around Taiyo's neck.
"Hikari, protect your sister at all cost." Their father says before pressing the button to send them into space.
Only seconds after sending them into space the planet explodes into a million pieces. With the twins in the pod they've been to different planets meeting others and continue traveling to other planets. They've been traveling for 15 years(5 months on earth), and one day they land on the planet Earth and landed in the home of a local middle school student.
