"So," said Samuel "where are you from?"
Garrett hasn't even sat down and Samuel is already asking questions. He doesn't answer right away.
"I'm from Scottsdale, Arizona," his voice was soft but stern.
"I have a cousin that lives in Arizona."
'I think that was the one who got arrested and is now on parole...' I thought to myself.
"So what brings you here to, Whitney High School here in California?"
Garrett frowned he started looking tense. I patted his shoulder and sat him down.
"I'm running away from my bully..."
"What happened?"
"I don't want to say," Garrett looked down.
Samuel stood up and walked off, probable to find Andy.
