Growing Through Time (A Harry Potter au Story)

Whilst Mindy, Paula, Brody and others spent time outdoors exploring Hogsmeade, Molly and Bryony stayed in their common room, in the dungeons. They sat by the fireplace on the emerald green leather couches, chatting, the homework they began discarded on the coffee table.
The thudding of footsteps came through the entrance and an inaudible mumbling rang through the cold walls.
"What is it Mindy?" Bryony asked, stroking a black cat which has leaped onto her lap.
"Snape happened. Took away housepoints and sent us back here."
She slid down into the single armchair across Molly, her hair shrouding her face.
Leaning forward Molly asked,
"What happened?"
"A lot." Mindy answered, sitting up as she started to explain.

Stumbling back, Lee took hold of his nose, blood soaking through his fingers, whilst Mindy shook her hand, a gentle throbbing ran through from the impact.
"Oh Merlin! Mindy!" Brody scolded. He looked annoyed, grabbing a couple napkins from the table and passing them to the boy. He happily took them, sending a glare in Mindys direction.
The noise caught others attention, and soon a figure stood by them, throwing them out of the building. Once outside, the group turned to the person that threw them out. To their distaste, it was Snape, his black robes billowing behind him, arms crossed across his chest and a scowl was drawn on his face.
"What was that?" He drawled his eyes sending daggers at the students.
"Well Professor...."
"Don't interrupt Gallagher-Blake." He snapped looking directly at her.
"But-"
"5 points from Slytherin," he said hesitantly, "And 10 from Hufflepuff and Gryffindor....each."
"What?!"
"No way!"
The two twins jumped right up trying to reason with the teacher, but to no avail.
"You four, take Jordan to the hospital wing and the other two, head back to school with them. Too much freedom out here seems to be doing bad for you." He spoke slowly his voice dripping hatred towards the teens, as he indicted for them to leave.

"...and then me and Brody walked off towards the carriages. Paula and the guys took another one." Mindy finished.
"You left her alone with the guy that probably hates you and his friends that played a prank on her, which hurt her. Great." Bryony looked unhappy with that decision.
"It was Snapes idea, not mine!"
"Yeah, alright."
"Soo.... it's of topic, but... did you get the Chocolate frogs?" Molly asked a small smile plastered on her face.
Grinning, Mindy reached into her jacket pocket, and threw the two boxes at her.
"So anyways, what did you two do today?"
"Nothing much."
The fire crackled in the fireplace, the two odd students read in silence near the mahogany bookshelfs, as the trio of girls sat chatting about odd nothings.
