The f*g slur

The car door slammed shut outside the Shack before Stanford and Dipper quietly made their way to the front door. Dipper kept his head down, staring dejectedly at his shoes which squelched in the mulchy grass that the storm had flooded.
Stanford opened the door and paused, contemplating whether or not to ask the same question he'd asked a thousand times that evening.
Dipper picked up on his hesitation and answered before Ford had finished drawing his breath to ask,
"I'm sure... there was nothing, nothing at all."
A grim silence was all that followed and so Dipper made his way upstairs to his old bedroom.
He opened the door as quietly as possible, taking care to only open it a fraction so as not to let it reach the point where it creaked. He was exhausted after his trek with his Grunkle but was aware that Mabel must be sleeping already.
He squinted into the darkness of the room, trying to make out the shape of his bed. With arms outstretched and somewhat resembling a zombie, he found his way to his bed and lay down, arms outstretched and ready to embrace sleep.
But he can't stop thinking about it. The sounds of it, the..the coldness of-
He shivers at the thought of spending all night dwelling on it. Wanting desperately to sleep but having enough sense to know he won't, he stands up, stretches and sneaks out of the Shack.
Now walking down the trodden paths of Gravity Falls, the young boy begins to regret not bringing his phone along with him. Despite the restorative sense the absence of technology brings, the streetlights flickered on and off at irregular intervals leaving Dipper to trip and stumble his way down the street. He knows where he's going though, before he stepped onto the bus this morning he knew where he'd eventually end up, although he expected it to be sooner rather than later. He outwalks the streetlights and steps into the undergrowth of pine trees, his stride slowing and and his hands begin nervously fidgeting. He's arrived at the Corduroys house.
The room from the top left of the house emmits a warm glow as the light disperses through the blinds, Wendy must still be awake. Other lights are on inside too and the faint roars of Wendy's father and brothers make their way out into the cold street.
I shouldn't be nervous, I've done this a thousand times..though not here, not for her..what if she isn't there alone? What if she's got a boy or Robb-,
"Hey! What are you doing?"
Caught, like a deer in the headlights, Dipper turns and faces the two shadowed figures approaching him and chokes out,
"Umm..uhh..i.i was just on a walk!" "By yourself? Hah, what a loser, don't have any friends?"
"I don't know Robbie, he's kind for cute don't you think?"
"Don't I think? What the fuck do you take me for Tambry? A fag?"
"Wait! Robbie? Tambry?" Dipper gasps stepping forward into the glow of a street light, "I'm-"
"Hot, definitely!" Tambry declares, leaving both boys to gawp at her.
"Fuck sake Tambry, c'mon we're out of here" Robbie pulls on Tambrys arm and drags her after him.
"You better watch your back faggot!" Robbie growls before rounding the corner.
Once again alone on the street, Dipper  tries to push this encounter to the back of his head, however the word "Hot" still echoes on and on inside his skull.
Tambry called me hot?! How does that even work, it looks like she's still dating Robbie but, did they not even recognise me?
Looking a little insane as he laughs to himself in the middle of the street, he remembers his twelve year old self, short, weak and squeaky voiced, on a mission to prove himself as manly despite all odds, in a couple of years he's grown into exactly what he wanted back then. He was tall and lean, not too bulky but strong enough to hold his own, and he'd finally grown some facial scruff.
Yeah, I think I can forgive them for not recognising me, it's a sign of improvement I guess?
Wendy's bedroom light switched off and quickly snapped Dipper out of his own head, it's now or never, if I wait any longer she might fall asleep and hey, atleast I know Robbie isn't up there with her.
Gritting his teeth, he began the ascent up to the window.
One thing I will say about climbing houses in Gravity Falls is, don't. Don't do it. You might think you're great at scaling houses in a city, but they're brick, or concrete. Here, it's timber, which means splinters, everywhere.
Finally he pulled his chest onto the windowsill with his legs dangling below and quickly rapped the glass.
Hurry up hurry up hurry up hurry up hurry up, Wendy please my fingers are actually bleeding.
A silhouette began approaching the window
Wait, what if she doesn't recognise me either, and I'm just some stranger trying to climb into her bedroom oh my god oh SHIT I should have thought this through more i-
The window creaked open and he saw her.

Haha yeah Robbie isn't very nice right now, I might give him a good redemption arc and make him realise slurs aren't nice things to shout at people, but that's who he is right now :/
