It was a cold night in Canada, A amnesiac man named Logan aka Wolverine, who found out that he was a mutant, who had claws in his knuckles.He just wanted to keep to himself, & make money, as he continued on his journey, & hoping that he would find out more about his life. Little that he knew, His life will get crazier by the minute.
He met Marie, aka Rogue, while he was leaving the bar, after he almost got into a fight, & he was ready to get rid of her fast, but he saw her standing in the cold, The Gruff Man knew that he couldn't leave her there, He drove back to get her, & they got to know each other bit by bit. They hit a tree, & Logan sailed out from the window, & on the ground. While, Marie was stuck.
Once Logan came to, He was worried about Marie, She couldn't believe that he healed up fast, "Kid, Are you okay ?", He asked, as he had concerned etched in his face, He was worried about her, & his camper will exploded, as she remained in there, "I'm stuck !", she cried out in distress, as she was trying to work herself free. The Young Teenager has never been terrified, & just wants to live through the experience that she is in.
As he was going through the healing process, He wiped the remaining blood off of his head, as he made his way towards her, as he was doing it. He was attacked by another guy, who had long sharp nails, & fangs as part of his teeth. They fought, but he was knocked unconscious, & the big mutant went after Marie. Who was trying to get away from him, & prayed that Logan would soon wake up.
Marie was shocked that a laser fired, & threw the mutant, come to known as Sabertooth, back a few feet. Then, Rogue saw a woman with white hair making the blizzard even bigger, preventing him from getting up, & to attack her teammate. Marie was amazed by the man with the visor, as he carried Logan in a fireman's carry, while the woman helped her out of the camper, & straight to their jet, Blackbird, & got out of there, as soon as the camper exploded.
Rogue finally lets out her emotions, as they were settled, & they took off, she made sure that he wasn't suffering, as she tried to make him comfortable during the flight, As soon as she was assured that he was sleeping, she went back to her own spot, she let out a few tears, The Woman aka Storm, She comforted her, & said soothingly, "It will be okay, Baby Doll, He will be okay, Your friend looks like he a fighter, & a survivor", Rogue just seemed & basked in the comfort that Storm was offering.
When they got back to the mansion, Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy aka Beast, & Dr. Jean Grey were on the landing pad, as they waited for Blackbird to land, The Blue Creature said in an commanding tone, "Get them into the lab", Jean wrapped an comforting around Rogue's shoulder, "It's okay, Sweetheart, You are safe", as they went inside, & get settled in. Marie doesn't care about herself, as long as Logan makes it, & survives.
Storm stayed by Marie's side, as she was getting checked out, The Young Girl was checking out her new surroundings, as she was calming herself down, & trying to forget what happened, As soon as her exam was over, Storm took her to get some fresh clothes to change into, & have something to eat, & rest for the night. The Young Girl was feeling a little bit better, as she had something to eat, & she laid her head down & try to get a decent night's sleep for a change.
Scott Summers aka Cyclops feels like he had to stay with Logan, He felt like the unconscious man was hurt so much in his life, The X-MenLeader was appointing himself to be protector of Logan, til he wakes up, & defend himself, He looked at his lover, & asked, "How is he doing, Jean ?", The Redhead looked at him, & had a grim expression on her face.
"He will be fine, as long as he rests, & lets his healing factor kick in, I think he will be just fine, But for now, He is an induced coma, & he will wake up slowly, as soon as I bring him out of it, So, I think that we should try, & get some sleep too, while we still can", The Redheaded Doctor said, as she ushered her lover, & herself out of the Medical Bay, & let Logan sleep.
Rogue found that she couldn't sleep, & she was geeeted by Scott Summers aka Cyclops, He smiled at her, & asked, "Can't sleep, Darlin' ?", she shook her head "no", He indicated that she should sit, & joined him for a midnight snack. He put some of Jean's Double Chocolate & Peanut Butter Chip cookies on a plate, "Jean says, "Cookies is always the best solution for anything", Marie smiled, & felt normal for a second, Instead of Rogue, a freak. They talked for awhile, & they went to bed.
Meanwhile, Professor Xavier was checking on Logan, before he went to bed, He saw the dog tags, & it had the name Wolverine in capital letters, He smirked, & said, "Wolverine, Huh ?, That will be your code name, Try to sleep, Logan, See you in the morning", he said, as he was communicate with him telepathically, & he went to his room. He hopes with the additions of these two people, He can stop Magneto for good, & they can their dream of peace.
As Professor X was resting in his bed, & was settling down to sleep, He felt like his X-Men family was completed, He smiled, cause he feels like everything is possible, & they can take on everything, & anything that is thrown at them, The Older Man believes it, as he fell asleep, & began to have wonderful dreams.
