Chapter 5, Try Again, Jungkookie

"Jiminie," Jin's fingers treaded through Jimin's hair, "Wake up, Sweetheart." Jimin's eyes widened as his tail flopped on the ground at the nickname. But his eyes immediately closed again after realizing how bright the room was. "Time for breakfast," Jimin's eyes opened again, not caring about the almost blinding light, "What's that?" "What do you mean?" "Um.." Jimin thought, "'Berek'.. fest'?" Jin's eyes saddened slightly at the almost foreign sounding pronunciation, "Breakfast," yet Jin smiled encouragingly, "It's when you eat in the morning." "Hyung," Jungkook whined as he turned the corner. His eyes landed on a sleepy Jimin, "Oh, sorry." He whispered as he started to walk away, "Jungkook-ah," Jin called, "Could you carry him to the table?" "Okay," Jungkook agreed ecstatically.

"Here you go," Jungkook breathed out as he settled Jimin into a dining room chair. "Wait," Jimin grabbed onto Jungkook's sweater with his small hand before he left, "S-Stay? Please?" Jungkook's eyes widened at the want and neediness in Jimin's voice; no one ever talked to him like that. "Uhm.. Sure." Jungkook pulled the chair beside him closer to Jimin. Jimin let a small smile before biting his bottom lip to hide it. The action made Jungkook chuckle, "Smile," he placed his hands on Jimin's cheeks and squished them together, making Jimin burst out in laughter. Hoseok dramatically ran to the doorway from the kitchen and peeked inside the room, "What's going on in here?" He asked, laughing along to the unknown joke. "Hoseokie!" Jimin yelled as he ran up to him. Hoseok's smile somehow was able to grow wider at the syllable added to his name. Jimin squeezed Hoseok's cheeks together, just as Jungkook did before, and laughed at an even higher pitch as Hoseok raised his eyebrows multiple times. "You're in my seat, kid." Jungkook jumped as Yoongi forced him out of his stare at Jimin. Jungkook panicked, what was he gonna do? A light bulb appeared in Jungkook's head, "Jimin wanted me to sit here," Ha! Jungkook's got him now. Yoongi smiled and said, "Alright." If Jungkook's being honest, Yoongi's smile scared him a little. Yoongi then walked towards Jimin and said, "Jimin-ah wanna sit with me?" Jimin nodded, "Sure!" Yoongi walked by Jungkook, "Try again, Jungkookie."
