Chapter 2

Lunchtime! My favourite time of the day. Do not get me wrong I’m not fat but I’m not the skinniest person you will ever meet either.

My Classes were good I guess, I was sitting on my own for most of them, which was good. I liked to keep my personal space. However, in third period, maths I had to share a desk with Trevor… Or was it Travis…wait it might have been Ted? Someone tapping me on the back interrupted my trail of thought. I turned to see a tall blonde-haired girl with long legs and a face plastered with makeup. “Are you gonna move anytime soon?” she had voice that sounded like one of those posh snobs on 91210 or was it Beverley hills? “Oh, eh, sorry I was just daydreaming.” The whole cafeteria seemed to go quite and all heads turned this way. Her eyes started to wonder down my body, pause at my clothes and snap back up to my face. A smirk appeared on her freshly glossed lips “Well, looky here, a new girl” my eyes wandered behind her to see three clones of apparently the girl in front. “I have three rules for you shorty!” oh come on I wasn’t that short! Maybe a couple inches smaller but I’m not small.  “ Number 1.This is my school, Number 2. You do Not speak to me without my permission and lastly Number 3. Stay out of my way and don’t breath my air.” I gaped at her, was she serious? Her school? I didn’t see her name in the leaflet. “you listen here blondie.” I heard a couple of gasps around me, Blonde’s eyes seemed to widen as she didn’t expect to hear a response.

I’ve taken enough crap from my last schools, fair enough but not this year, not this school and defiantly not from her!

Just as I was about to unleash the full wrath on the blonde bimbo, when I felt a hand grip my wrist and pull me away from the lunch line and a far enough hearing distance from blondie.

“Hey! What do you think you’re doing, geroff me!” stepping back and looking up to the person who pulled me away, I was met with the most piercing ice blue eyes I’ve ever seen in my life. I felt my blood run cold. A voice inside my head told me to struggle out of the death grip on my wrist and run, run far away from the situation I was getting into. But those eyes kept me put, frozen.
