I heard my phone ring from the bathroom, I scrambled up from my bed to get it. "Hello?" I answered tiredly.

"Hey kid." The voice replied. "How are ya' feeling today?"

"Horrible." I said sadly.

"I'm coming over. Is anyone there?"

"No, why do you think my extended family members just randomly decided to have any interest in me?" I spat into the phone.

"I'll see you soon then."

"Ok. Bye Tyler."

After I hung up the phone I decided to try t get myself cleaned up a little more. I walked into the bathroom and washed my face, trying to make the puffiness of my eyes go away. It worked a little, but not really. Then I walked back into my room and laid back on my bed. I figured there was no reason in changing out of my PJs because Tyler was the only one who would be seeing me, and it wouldn't be a first for him.

I continued to just lay there until he arrived. I was half asleep when I heard the doorbell ring. I grabbed my phone and texted Tyler.

The doors unlocked. I'm in my room.

A minute later I heard the front door open and heard someone stomping up the stairs. Tyler was really tall at 6 ft. 3. He was a quarterback on the footbal team at school, and really popular. He had practically all the girls drooling over them. He was a total flirt too, but he never went out with anyone (for too long at least) because he always said I was the only girl in his life. We weren't dating or anything, just really good friends. I don't know how though. Were complete opposites. Most guys like him wouldn't even look at me. He's different though. And I'm glad. Tyler is always here for me, no matter what. He always had, and I'm not ready for that to change. I need him.

"Hey beautiful." I heard his dead voice say from the door. I didn't even bother to lift my head up from my pillow.

"C'mon Ari. Give me some love." He would always say that when I was upset, all he ment was to give him a hug, but it ussually works.

When I contiuned not to say anything he scoped me up from the bed and held me in his arms. I was tiny compared to him, so this was easy.

"Ariana. Talk to me." He hardly ever called me Ariana, he like Ari better.

I just looked up at him with my sad eyes, and he kissed my forehead.

"Will you put me down?" I whimpered.

"Sure kid." When he put me down on my bed I stood up and ran over to him and hugged him. And just like that, the tears started flowing.
