Slave Girl ...

Chapter Two 

PHOBOS 

I hardly took notice of the passing streets ,like I had done on the way to Callidoras ,colours and forms all blending into one .My head a whirl with imagainings of what was to come .Niether of us spoke ,the grip of our hands only getting tightere with each new turn .It seemed the once welcoming streets ,laced with light ,were now dark .Shadows appearing in every gap ,I felt as if Akioios men were there ,in every street ,lurking with teh shadows ,just waiting for the perfect moment to pounce .To be honest I was glad Dareious pace was making me have to jog slightly ,I dididnt want to be anywhere near the outside for a long period of time .Dareious halts ,letting go of my hand finger by finger ,his eyes trainnned souly on our wodden panneled doors .

"Dareious .....We dont have to do this -"

My mummered plea trails off as Dareious strides himself proudly over ,plucking a semi large rock off the ground as he goes .I shake my head ,the odds off winning this tussle with a rock ? I sincerly had a lack of beleife on that score .I gently jog over ,and glance at Dareious who nods slowly .On the invisable count ,we gently push open the doors ,the creak echoing noisley ,in the rather silent Atruim .We both stand stock still ,my eyes growing wide .Nothing had been touched ,nothing had been broken .IN fact it looked as if no abnormal event had ever taken place .The tourquise mosaic floor gleamed in the gentle light that had been thrown in .The white plastered walls stille spotless .EVen the offerings left on the zues Herkitious alter still rmeained ,the inceses trailing with the light breeze .I ried to think this was good news ,I really did ,but somehow the knot anticpication and susipicon only grew tighter .I walk foward my hand grasping the inside of my hamition ,It was if everyone had just silently gone ,moved out with out protest .Sudfdenly I stop .The sound of heavy footsteps unmistakable in the empty corridoor .I jerk my head back ,motioning for Dareious to hurry up .

"What !" 

"shhssss" I place my finger to my lips and look twoards the common room door .I had no idea at the moment ,Dareious could be so stupid ,but prehaps ,all males are in this type of situation .In one moment ,he had barged open the door and proudly strod over the threshold .I can tell neoither of us liked the sight .In the middle of the room ,stood at oppsite sides of the hearth ,stood two roughens ,facial features so similar ,there was no doubt of their connection ,they were defeitnly siblings .Each musularly built ,a tooth or two missing ,and scars and scratches regular across their bodies .Dark limp hair ,scraggly tied back with clothe ,beard bristles quite visiable .EVen if their appperence wasnt enought to flee ,the glitnting swords sleathed in blood were .

"what a surprise ,MAster Dareious ...well when you ran off ,we thought we might have to have a little chase around "

The taller one ,cocks his head to one side and gives us a capped toothed smile .

"ahhh even brought us the Delectable Dalphne as well ." His brothers eyes break away from Dareious and slowly scan my profile ,a small smile lighting up his features .I remain rigid ,forcing myself not to move ,the chills dsown my spine the only fear to escape .

"I would say its a pleasure to meet you .But then of course I'd be lying ." 

My voice carries calmly over ,surprising not only myslef ,but even Dareious ,who looks around in bewilderment ,as if only noticing I'm here .

"Dalphne ..." He glares at me for a moment ,eyes shinning a warning .The taller one chuckles and he turns back ,jerking his head in that direction .

"why arent you a fiesty one ,just like your mother ,always something to say ....I have no doubt this should prove an interesting journey Salmos "

Both brothers laugh ,and I see Dareious tense .
