There is this girl named Isabella, she is 16. The thing about Isabella is she has been somewhat of an outcast. Never really being able to fit in where she goes, she has friends but still cannot shake the feeling of loneliness, she thinks she's weird for not being like most girls, it actually makes her depressed that she cannot be like most of her friends, who get every guy and have seemingly the most fun. She thinks nobody wants her and she's been defiant to become like everybody else but... she can't bear it anymore. She thinks being like everyone around her will make her happy, she wants to become just like them... so she does. Now Isabella gets high everyday with her friends, smokes all her problems away, goes to every party and gets all the bad guys who just want her for the night... she does everything her friends do. She becomes what her friends want her to be... she becomes one of them. Isabella will still have nights of depression and still never feel truly fulfilled. That's because Isabella gave up on being herself and settled for being like the others, what Isabella didn't realize is that she could have gone on to find real happiness if she stayed committed to being her true self.
In the world today, everyone is choosing to settle for being like everyone else. A world of clones is what we live in simply because everyone chooses to be just like the person next to them.
We are Isabella.
