Despite the whispers that come and go, he could do nothing as he walked, brushing past their mocking. Their words became louder when he was nearer to a classroom, but he still ignored as much as he could, soon standing at the corridor as he stared out of the window. There was no sight to behold, just the track and field.

There were boys kicking a soccer ball on the field, some running on the tracks as they fooled around with their friends. He admitted to himself that he was a little envious of how much fun they were having, but he would not want to join in since he isn't very interested, neither does he crave to be in a crowd. The attention will be too much for him to bear.

"Jin Young-oppa!" He heard, body spun behind as the murmurs around him increased.

He just stared as a girl leaped towards him with a smile that could brighten a room, a sigh almost escaping his lips at how she nearly stumbled her way out of her classroom. What a klutz.

The girl has one hand clutching onto her wallet and phone, her other arm swiftly hooking onto the boy's, making him sigh.

"What is it now? You don't usually do this unless you're in a good mood."

The girl laughed heartily, giving him a soft punch on his arm which he frowned at before shaking his head. "You know me best, as expected of my best friend!"

"So, what's good?"

"You know, I told you that I have a crush on someone in my class, right?"

"Mhm, why?"

"He talked to me today!" She squealed as if it is the best thing in the world, though Jin Young thought otherwise as he judged her, arm slipping away from her grasp as he quickly walked off.

The girl pouted before chasing after him, hitting his back which he groaned at afterwards, turning to give her glare. "Yah, that hurts!"

The girl merely wore a smug look on her face at that, sticking out her tongue playfully before she skipped her way to the canteen. Jin Young followed along behind her, shaking his head as he wondered what is so good about the boy she likes to make her act like that, even if he doesn't know who he is.

When they reached the canteen, students were all over the place, rushing to get food since spaghetti was served for lunch. With the sea of people, his female friend—whose head only reached his mid-neck—disappeared into thin air. He shut his eyes, sighing deeply.

Jin Young couldn't be bothered to search for her, making his way to a table with a mere yoghurt drink. Recently, he doesn't have much of an appetite so he is contented enough with just a 80 millilitres drink.

Though, Soo Yeon—that short clumsy girl he is stuck with—thought he is insane for wanting to diet when he is already skinny enough, as she falsely claimed. He also knows it isn't good for his body to consume a yoghurt drink with an empty stomach, but he doesn't give a damn.

As he sipped on the small bottle, his eyes darted about the large canteen, waiting for the girl. The sourness of the yoghurt drink lingered on his buds as he gulped down the last bit before he left the empty bottle on the table.

He scanned his surrounding when he had nothing to do. Students were laughing cheerily as they fooled around with their peers, making the place lively with their buzzes.

He however thought those were annoying, since he much preferred silence. He stick out like a sore thumb in the place with a grey that didn't fit in the vivid colours of the scene, none willing to approach him at all as if he was bad omen.

Though, that isn't completely inaccurate as he saw how some students deliberately avoided his table, their eyes staying on him before they turned away.
