Infection of the Universe

"I Link Summon! Arise, Link 3, Curious, Vassal of the Lightsworn!"

A monk arises from a Link Gate standing talk against a rather fiendish looking monster before the monster buckles and holds his head, groaning in undesypherable mumbling as the opponent laughs.

"YOU FOOL! you decided to Link summon on my field, so you pay that price!" The mysterious Duelist says as he activates a card, causing the monk to groan louder, as dark data travels from the heart of the monster out, and it touches the field, spreading like a plague.

"What did you do to my monster!?" A young teenager says as he watches the Lightsworn monster writhe and the field begin to lose its solidity.

"I infected it with a virus! Thanks to your ignorance, I'm now able to infect this program! Hahahaa!!"

"No! Give my Curious back!" The man begins to look arround as his monster screams, cracking and turning from Light to Dark.

"Meet the new Virus monster!" The man laughs as the former Lightsworn turns on its old master and slash at him, depleting his life points. "HAHAHAH!!! this is too fun!!"

"You have too much fun with this..." a female comes up behind him shaking her head, her face hidden by a scarf that is wrapped tightly arround her face.

"How can i not!? I love seeing the pain of losing a companion you used to depend on and have it attack them!" The man says as he slaps her back.

"I told you not to touch me," she said with such coldness that his hand seemed to have frost bite.

"Ow damn you! You can't always use that power on me!" He holds his hand close to his chest, almost frightened.

"Then learn," She says as she walks over slowly to the body of the teen, picking up a card dropped with a Blood red coloring. "We have another one. That makes three Virus cards,"

"How many did we need again?" The man asks roughly.

"We need as many as we can that can infect Cyberse Universe," She says looking at the card carefully.

"Damn.. that can take forever... buuut it Means I can have some fun!!" He says with what sounds like a grin from his hidden face.

"Yeah I guess so...." she says, taking one more look arround before walking off. "Come. We need to go find more people,"

"You mean victims," the man mutters following her.

"Whatever," she says, entering a car with him following her slowly, entering as the version of Cyberse Universe starts to crack and vanishes, creating an empty block of code, causing a break in the stream.

Effectively shutting down a portion of Cyberse Universe. 5% shuttdown. 95% active.

"Big Brooooo!!" Gemini groans as she looks through Leo's extra deck.

"What?" Leo says innocently.

"How... when the hell did you get these awesome things!?" Gemini fans out Leo's Extra deck and points to his Code Talkers.

"Oh... they kinda evolved on their own, honestly," Leo says embarrassed  As Luna looks at them too.

"Gem, don't you have any link monsters?" Luna says looking over Geminis extra deck.

Gemini blushes as she looks back and forth. "Uh... um... ah... n-no..."

"Why!?" Trip says from the phone propped up watching this from his house.  "Links are awesome!!"

"Well maybe I can't be up to date all the time!!" Gemini says blushing as she snatches her deck back.

"Gem, even I have a Link monster. You need one for our duel on Monday afternoon..." Luna says carefully.

"W-well... where am I gonna get one?" Gemini says crossing her arms.

"You can always ask Dad Gem..." Leo says slightly.

"... I can't do that to him..." Gemini says hesitantly.

"You have to Gem, it's the only way," Luna says as she pats her shoulder.

"Fine... I'll ask him tonight..." Gemini says dejectedly as Trip cheers from his room.

"Dad?" Gemini asked tentatively.

"What is it sweetie?" Light looked up from his desk, worrysom from her sudden entrance to his office.

"Daddy can you make me a Link monster for my deck...." Gemini says slowly.

"Sure of course sweetie," Leo smiles and brings her over. "Show me your cards again ok sweetie?"

"Ok..." Gemini hands her cards over and Light smiles as he stops at one card. "Ok, I got it, I'll make sure it's done tomorrow,"

"Yay!! Thank you daddy!!" Gemini hugs Light tightly as she runs out and smiles. "I love you dad!" She closes the door and Light smiles as he uploads the Link program.

"Heh," Gemini says as she walks to School with Leo and Luna.

"What's so funny?" Leo asks as she smiles more.

"Nuthin, you'll find out," Gemini smiles and runs to the front entrance of the school waiting for everyone. "Come ooon I wanna start winning! Gemeanies away!!"

"I regret that name..." Trip says as he walks in slowly as Luna laughs.

"It's ok, it's just a temporary thing," Leo says with a smile.

"Ok..." Trip says as he walks in with Leo and Luna. The tournament will begin shortly.
