Boss meets Ms. Secretary

As promised in my Oneshot update earlier,  this is my surprise to my ever supportive Bebes. 
I know this is long overdue but I present this story as a gift for 2021!
'The Boss' was uploaded since years ago pero lately lang ako nagkaroon ng time/lakas ng loob at willingness na gawin siya na full novel from being an Oneshot story.
So,  I hope you enjoy the story!

*Eunice's POV*

First official day ko ngayon sa CM corporation. My Boss who happens to be the CEO of this company is very strict.
Ayaw na ayaw nito sa late comer, paeasy-easy at mga tanga.
He's a perfectionist! For God's sake!
Medyo may background din naman ako sa magiging Boss ko,  I've known him since high school but we're not close.
Tipong typical schoolmate-classmate relationship lang. 
Ni hindi nga kami nag-usap kahit pang-simpling magkakilala lang.
He's like the 'heartthrob ' at the school, and I'm just no one. Not popular, not even noticable.
I may one of those dreaming highschooler that a Handsome Prince Charming will like or love them back.
But I'm all grown up now,  although I still have a crush on him...I know the farthest relationship I will got from him is to be his efficient secretary.

Kaya eto ako, wala pang seven o'clock ay nasa harap na nang companyang papasukan ko.

"Good Morning Ma'am." Bati sa akin ni Manong guard na nasa entrance.
"Good Morning din po Manong!" Masayang bati ko rito. Dapat puro good vibes lang sa umaga para magtutuloy-tuloy habang mamayang hapon.
Dumiretso na ako sa pinakatuktok ng buildling. Nasa top floor kasi ang opisina ng CEO at bilang sekretarya nito ay nasa labas lamang ng opisina nito ang desk ko.

Ilang minuto rin ang inantay ko bago ako naka-abot sa top floor. Mabuti at nauna ako sa Boss ko.
Now, all I need to do is be ready. Be prepared before my Boss arrived. Na-orient na din naman sa akin kung ano ang mga gagawin ko dito sa opisina at nakabisado ko na ang halos lahat ng iyon.

Exactly seven thirty AM ay nagbukas ang elevator at iniluwa ang isang adonis.

A man on his Silver Three piece suit. Walking towards my desk. He walks like he's on his modeling career.
He showed his perfect set of teeth and smiled at me.
Then I realized....

Si Boss!

Ano ba naman 'to? Ang lakas talaga ng dating nya!

"Good Morning Sir." Napatayo ako mula sa kinauupuan ko. Mabuti nalang at hindi ako nautal sa pagbati ko rito. Tumango lamang ito bilang sagot.
Agad kong nilahad dito ang folder na naglalaman ng ng schedule nito for today habang hawak-hawak ko naman ang isang planner na naglalaman din ng specific work load nito para sa araw na ito.
Sinundan ko ito sa opisina nito.

"Sir, in a few minutes Mr. Domingo of Amlac Solutions will be here for an appointment. Afterwards, Mrs. Flores of the Finance department will discuss the arrangements of the new project with Amlac Solutions.
And at eleven AM you had a board meeting discussing about the issues on our site at Theon Tower."
In the afternoon, Philware booked a business proposal at 2pm.
He nodded at me before saying. "Make me a cup of coffee, make it black." He ordered as he sit on his swivel chair.

"Yes, Sir." I bowed down and got my way out of his office to make his coffee.
I hope I'll get his taste buds, although I have known him for quite time iba pa din kapag nahuli mo ang kiliti ng isang tao. This is my first day on my first job, and my first time to make a coffee to my Boss!

Sana lang ay magustuhan nito, first time ko din itong magtimpla ng kape dahil hindi naman ako umiinom ng kape. Kaya wala akong ideya kung masasarapan ba ito o hindi.
Ipinikit ko nalang ang aking mga mata at itinikman kung ayos ba iyon o hindi.
"Hmm.. " Ninamnam ko iyong kapeng ginawa ko. "Mukhang ok naman siya." Napangiti ako. "Sana magustuhan ni Boss!" Sambit ko sa sarili ko.
"Go, keri na 'to!" Usal ko sa aking sarili. "Kaya ko ito!"
Mabuti nalang at wala akong naging problema sa pinalitan kong posisyon sa kompanya dahil ito mismo ang nag orient at nagbigay sa akin ng tips para magawa ko ng maayos ang trabaho ko.

"Sir,  here's your coffee." I put the coffee near his hand. "Is there anything else you need,  Sir?" I ask politely.

"Nope." He said popping the 'p'. "Go back to your desk now." He continue as he was dismissing me already.

Bumalik naman ako agad sa pwesto ko at sinimulan na ang trabaho ko. 
Tanghali na nang mapansin kong tumunog ang intercom mula sa office ni Sir.

"Yes Sir, you need anything?" Agad kong tanong.

"It's pass noon already,  just ask the pantry to send me my lunch  and you can take your lunch as well after." utos nito.

"Yes po.  May specific food po ba kayong gusto Sir?" I ask politely.

"Anything will do.  I just wanted 2-3 options, that's all."

"Okay po." I exited and hurriedly dial the pantry's hotline and ordered my Boss his lunch.
It only take fifteen minutes at nai-deliver naman kaagad ang lunch nito.
Ako na rin ang nag-ayos ng pagkain sa mesa nito.

"Ahmmm.. Sir,  I'll go ahead po to take my lunch." Paalam ko kay Boss bago lumabas ng opisina nito.

"Okay.  Just be here on time later.  We'll gonna go somewhere." Paalala nito.

"Yes Sir." Tumatango kong tugon bago isara ang pinto.

When the clock strikes exactly at two in the afternoon,  My Boss calls my attention.

"Eunice,  come with me." Dere-derestong utos sa akin ni Boss habang patungo ito sa private elevator nito.

Nagmadali naman akong sumunod dito dala-dala ang mga papeles na kailngan nito as his secretary.

At dahil nasa 70th floor located ang opisina ay sobrang tagal namin sa loob ng elevator. Halos nakakabingi ang katahimikan.

"Are you this silent?  Or you're just shy?" My Boss asks suddenly.

"Po?" I asks. Shocked.

"I'm  asking if you're this usually silent or just shy.." He asks again.

"Po?  A-ako po.  Hindi naman po.  Wala naman po kasi tayong pag-uusapan.  Di po ba? Boss?" Halos magkandautal-utal kong sagot.

Then he laugh.  Hard.
"You know..  I like you." He said and get out from the elevator since nakaabot na pala kami sa ground floor.

Patakbo kong sinundan si Boss. 
"Ano po yun, Boss?" Nagtataka kong tanong.

"What?" He asks while walking near his car.

"Ano po yung sinabi nyo kanina?"

"Get in." He opened the front seat.

"Yung sinabi niyo po bago kayo lumabas sa elevator." Tanong ko uli habang pumuwesto sa loob ng sasakyan.

"Don't overthink, Eunice.  I just like you being my secretary cause you're funny stuttering." He said and close the car's door.

My face turned red.

Did I just thought of my Boss liking me?!  And asks him about it?!

Fvck!  I'm  doomed! 

Nakakahiya!  Ganda ka ghorl?!

Feeling mo naman magugustuhan ka ng isang gwapong milyonaryo?!
Nag mukhang hopia ka tuloy!

The whole time until that day ends Eunice dismissively neglect any thoughts regarding my Boss.
At dala-dala ko ang nangyaring yun hanggang sa tumagal ako sa kompanya ni Claude Monteverde!
