"Hi my name is May Devonport and today is the last day of school. Summer is here I all hope you have a great summer." I spoke out to my fellow class mates. I walked back to my seat where my friend Stacy Darsy took her hand behind her dark as midnight black hair and whiped it to the side of her neck where it layed softly on her shoulder.
"Absoluty amazing!" she yelped with her hand going over her mouth (like usally). "Aw thanks you always have something nice to say."
Buzz Buzz. "There's the bell. See you next year." Tears came streaming down her big blue eyes like a fast river. " Don't cry ill see you in the summer." I insested. "I gotta go." I cried and ran off as if my life depended on it.
My walk home was an enjoyable moment for me. It was like the world lifted off my shoulders. All the work was gone for two months. For me this was a time to spent with my grandmother. My grandmother was my mother pretty much. My mother disappeared when I was born. No one will ever know what happened to her said the police. My father died when I was 5, he was hunting and like my mother dissapered. So I live with my grandmother.
My grandmothers name is Mary Devonport. She always dresses nice. For example one of my favourite outfits of hers is her magenta cocktail dress. With that she wears a magenta shell necklace that sparkles in the summer sun.
She dresses like shes royal.
Ding Dong. "Answer the door sweetie." yelped my grandmother with her voice old but as sweet as honey. "Ok!" I opened the door to see a letter on the ground. The color of the envolope was blue and yellow. " Wow that's odd." On the envolope was a little tag on the tag it said To Mary Devonport. "Grandma a letter for you" I walked back in with the letter and pasted it to my grandmother. " Aw thank you sweetie!"
She looked at the letter and hobbled off. That's weird she tells me what the letters are about right away. "Grandma are you ok?" I asked curiously.
"There's 50$ in my wallet go to the mall and get something nice for yourself." My grandmother yelped.
I went into my grandmas wallet and grabed the money and put it in my wallet. Don't feel bad May I think she needed time alone with the letter. I thought to myself.
I walked out the and got in my yellow town scooter. Then drove off.
