     LILIA SAT DOWN on the couch, emotionally and physically exhausted. She didn't wanna talk to anyone, not even her boyfriend nor her best friend, Maddie. She laid her head on her hand and stared at her phone. She would be on either be scrolling through social media right now, not being like this. Lilia swallowed the lump in her throat and started to run her finger over her black mark. Truthfully, she was the only person in here to do anything to survive, and she meant it. Just then, she felt her phone buzz on her lap and her heart dropped. No, no, no, no God. God please no, she thought to herself.

     Lilia started shaking and quickly looked around the room. Then, she spotted her best friend sitting by Wyatt, whom she had a crush on for forever. Not her. Out of all people, Lilia thought to herself.

     Lilia gulped as she stood up. She kept staring at the brunette as she walked into the kitchen, still smelling like something was burning. She made sure nobody was watching as she bent down and looked at the bleach from underneath the sink. This is wrong. You need to die and let her live, Lilia thought to herself. You're as bad as he is. You aren't a murderer. She shook away her thoughts and grabbed a bowl from the cabinet. She was having an emotional war with herself. "Hey." She jumped and turned around. "You okay?" Jaeden asked, actually concerned.

     "Yea, why wouldn't I be?" Lilia lied, giving a reassuring smile.

    "You look, afraid," Jaeden informed concerned. Lilia nervously chuckled as she stared at the ground.

     "Everyone's afraid, Jaeden." She was right, everyone was.

     "I just wanted to make sure you are okay," he explained and she nodded.
