Smokescreen watched Winter as she walked past him heading to the roof. Ever since Winter joined the Autobots she and been ignored by almost everyone. Winter was kind and loving; why couldn't the others see that? Though Winter was not helping, she was snarky and giving the others the cold shoulder. It broke his spark to know that his lover was being acting like this. He glanced over to Octimus Prime. The Prime gave a nod the rookie a nod. Smokescreen then headed to the roof of the base. When he reached the roof he was greeted by Winter's wingless back. He frowned; remembering how she lost them to Megatron. He heard a soft sob, realizing she was crying. He stood there for a few minutes until he got an idea. He walked over to her, he lend a little forward so he could see her face. When he could he started to sing.
"You with the sad eyes. Don't be discouraged. Oh I realize, it's hard to take courage. In a world full of people. You can lose sight of it all." He gentle cupped her face and used his thumb to wipe away her tears. " The darkness inside you,can make you feel so small.Show me a smile then, don't be unhappy. Can't remember when, I last saw you laughing." Smokescreen really couldn't remember the last time he saw her laugh. "This world makes you crazy. And you've taken all you can bear. Just, call me up, 'cause I will always be there." He would always be there for her. From now on and forever. Winter let out a sob and a shaky laugh, placing her forehead against his. " And I see your true colors, shining through. I see your true colors, and that's why I love you." Both Smokescreen and Winter smiled at each other. "So don't be afraid to let them show. Your true colors, true colors..." He then pulled her into a hug. "I love you, Winter." "I love you too, Smokescreen."
