The story of kimi ni todoke forms around a characters called Sawako, but everyone calls her Sadeko because she has a reference to the horror movie 'The Ring' character: Sadeko. But that was until she meets the character; Kazehaya Shota. He helps her makes friends.
This story to me is a bit cliché, but most romance anime is usually cliché anyway. Besides that, the anime really became one of my favourites, the main character is quite relatable in a way and the comedy in it.
