this is merely my opinion, don't get triggered over it.

let's be real here, nowadays teens only watch this show because everyone else does & the actors are pretty. besides, it became a trend for some reason.

i did take my time to watch some episodes so i could talk about it and honestly, i didn't watch that many because i was losing my precious time.

i watched first season a while ago, last summer i think, and it wasn't that bad. it was the normal kind of bad.

i mean if you ignore the fact that all of them try to be badass or edgy or whatever, but they just turn out to say cringy things ?? okay then

and that when cherryl tried to kill herself the amazing quartet 'saved her' all they did was take care of her for a while then pretend she doesn't exist like mf ignore her? i get it she's problematic but she's not okay,  be decent human beings and try to help her??

but then i watched like two episodes of season two and i just gave up on it. i tried to watch it so i could read my best friend's fanfic, but honestly, i gave up. 

what the fuck was up with who wrote season two??? who looked at it and was like um this totally doesn't sound like a teen drama/ high school drama!!!!111!!1!  seriously, it was almost as if they took all that was good from season one and threw it to the mother fucking trash can

so um, first of all, archie isn't that pretty stop getting nuts all over him.

ALL ARCHIE DOES IS HAVE SEX WITH VERONICA WHY.. seriously that isn't cute at all.

cherryl is raped and her mother is bitchy to her? wow. thats. thats great.

theres this episode where hermione sees her SIXTEEN YEAR OLD DAUGHTER drinking a Mimosa for BREAKFAST and her concern is oh that bottle was for ur father. i mean, seriously?? your daughter is underage and drinking a fucking mimosa for breakfasr and you are worried about the Mimosa being for her dad and not for her?? can you fix your priorities like please??

many of the characters do this drug called "jingle jangle" (IM SORRY I JUST LAUGH WHEN I HEAR THIS I MEAN SERIOUSLY??? JINGLE JANGLE??? HAHAHAHA) that is compared to something like cocaine or ecstasy or wtvr and well they're like gods and dont get addicted to it.

jughead being 'edgy'. oh my god... just to think that someone looked at this and was like... yes. this is a quote has me like what the fuck is wrong with you man.. "In case you haven't noticed, I'm weird. I'm a weirdo. I don't fit in. And I don't want to fit in. Have you ever seen me without this stupid hat on? That's weird"  well ok. then he joined the serpents and he's suddenly this edgelord. HE NEEDS TO CALM HIS TITS DOWN MAN, SOMEONE STOP HIM PLS. well, moving on

lets go to archie's red circle. man, it was completely unnecessary and i dont think anyone took the video of archie and his shirtless buds threatening black hood seriously. its just... no.

so um, there's this episode where it's like a musical and what the fuck??? there is so much unnecessary singing and it's cringe and frustrating. 

the storytelling in general is poor and has no logic whatsoever: archie and the fbi, betty and her long lost brother, cherryl and her prostitute mother, josie basically dying bc where tf is she. what the freak is going on??

omg as if it wasn't cringe-worthy enough to watch a teenage girl do a strip tease in front of some old bikers, her boyfriend's dad, her mom, she does that while there's a relaxing cover of mad world. i mean, i don't know if that's only me, but that's quite not a turn on, dear. 

don't even get me to  talk about the ghoulies/serpents race. what the fuck dude, old men doing some car race to prove who is better than who or whatever??? whY MAN, WHY. this is not Caillou, bro.

i don't think i mentioned that this is an adaptation of comic book series Archie. the wholesome redhead who is in a love triangle between rich gal veronica and his neighbor betty. those who wrote the comics said that jughead is, in fact, asexual, yet, not in riverdale, no sir! because they need teenage drama so they need sex!! and hormones and shit. besides, in riverdale, veronica's father was arrested, archie is a fuckboy who doesn't acknowledge he is a fuckboy and betty is about to have a psychotic break. oh and archie fucked his teacher who then manipulated him into lying to the police. edgy!

now let me talk about sweetpea. the fuck, who is he, a my little pony character??? like, how weird is his name man. he's supposed to be, i dont know, a bad boy/ whatever, but it'd be soooo dramatic if you threatened someone like.

"yo don't mess with me or with my crew. we got sweet pea and pinkie pie and rainbow dash who are ready to fight you man." 

seriously what is up with the names?? sweet pea? tall boy?? ion ion I DONT GET IT 

anyway, i think i could ramble on and on about this show and how much it get on my nerves but i'm not due to the respect i have towards my best friend. besides, i'm getting mad as i write this so um that's it kids.
