7. Heartbreak

LILY POV

I looked at everyone in my house. And than I saw him. James. Looking scared?! Scared at me, it was just a second. Because he quickly looked at the Alpha. Than it hit me, it was his father. James looked a lot like him. But I was interrupted by Claire. "Lily, you can't talk to him like that." "And why not, he did the same to me. Are you forgetting they are still in my house like a bunch of creaps." "Lily, Claire is right, but make them leave. I have never seen so many at the same time at the same place." I thuoght of something to make them leave. Than I knew it. "Now leave MY house, because you don't have any right to be here. So get out before I call the police." I saw many of them looking scared and were leaving, until the Alpha screamed. "HOW DARE YOU TALK TO US LIKE THAT." Now I was really angry. How dare he come in MY house and think like its his home. "HOW I DARE, YOU KNOCK ON MY DOOR, COME IN UNINVITED, AND SEARCH MY HOUSE. AND YOU ONLY THINK ABOUT HOW I DARE TO SPEAK TO YOU LIKE THAT." I catch my breath before continuing. "This is my house, and my life. I have done nothing wrong. The only ones who did something wrong is you. So now leave, all of you." The Alpha did a mindlink to everyone else and walked away. Except for James, Liv and Claire. "You really think you can talk to my dad like that. You're going to pay for it." James said with so much anger in his voice. It broke my heart to hear him talk like that. Liv and Claire stood behind him and saw my face.

Sadness. That was all they saw. James saw it to and spoke real quickly. "I didn't mean it like that." "Leave James." Claire said. And he listened he walked to the door. And both of the girls hugged my so much. I almost couldn't breath. But I was glad they knew of me being a wolf and James his mate.

JAMES POV

After everyone left, except for me, Liv and Claire. I walked up to Lily. "You really think you can talk to my dad like that. You're going to pay for it." I said with much anger in my voice. The second she heard it, all I could see was sadness in her eyes. And regretted it inmidiantly. "I didn't mean it like that." Before I could say soemthing else I heard this. "Leave James." I turned around and saw it was Claire who spoke. But I listened, I don't know why, but I just listened. I walked to the door but before walking outside, I turned around 1 more time. I saw Lily being hugged by Claire and Liv. She didn't cry or move. She just stood their, hugging the girls. I couldn't watch it anymore and walked to my dads car and got in. I didn't say one single thing to anyone.

As soon as we reached the packhouse. I got out as fast as I could and went straight to my room. I sat down on my bed and cried. I CRIED. The only time I cried in my life was when my mom passed away 3 years ago. "Max, why does it hurt so much, just seing Lily almost cry because of me." "Buddy I don't know. This time I really don't know. Lily probably doesn't want to talk to us anymore. But we have to find out." I thought for a second. "Max what if she is our mate? What if she is a wolf, but just hides it? I heard Liv say happy birthday, maybe she turned 18 today and found at we are her mate?" "James now your turning crazy, its possible but we have to find out before we do soemthing stupid. So this means, don't talk to girls, unless you have to." I know he is right. We need to find out. Because if she is my mate. I can't live long without her. "We need to ask Claire or Liv, they are her friends. They way they hugged her. They must know more." With saying that, I fell asleep.
